Abhi couldn’t understand that why Pragya is looks so troubled now. This is not what he was expecting from her. She lied to him that she was back at Ranveer’s house. Even Purab lied to him saying that she is asleep but his mind never agreed to their words. He came back to Pragya’s house and saw her blankly sitting on the sofa. He called her many times but she was lost in her own thoughts.
He sat beside her and in a soft tone “Pragya…” The very next moment she laid her head on his shoulder and held his hands firmly for support.
Abhi “What happened now?” He asked worriedly. Pragya in a worried tone “Is it bad to fall in love?” Abhi looked at her quizzically of her question.
Abhi “Who said so?” Pragya “No one says but I feel so…” Abhi “Why do u feel so?” Pragya slowly tried to remove her hands from his but he never let her do that.
She remained silent looking down. Abhi “I asked why do u feel so Pragya?” Pragya “If I never met you at Bhai’s marriage….If I never met you at Ahemdabad…..If I never met you again after all this years…If I never met you in my dreams and thoughts…everything would have been easier na?” Abhi hearing that wondered what happened now that she is talking like this!
Abhi “Pragya! Something had happened again and that’s why you are behaving like this!” Pragya “Nothing happened…nothing will happen…” She said that by stressing the words nothing.
Abhi “Nothing right? Then go and sleep now!” He said that and made her stand up. He walked with her to the room. He noticed from her gloomy face that she was surely hiding something big from her just like he is hiding from her.
As she entered the room and was about to close the door,
Abhi stopped her and barged inside the room. Pragya was taken aback and looked at him with an expressionless face.
Abhi walked continuously towards her until she hit against the wall and she still couldn’t understand what he is trying to do. Abhi “Pragya….What is happening now? Why are u like this?” Pragya “Go to your home and sleep Abhi…” She said dryly.
Abhi “NO! I am not going anywhere without knowing why are u like this? I have been noticing u all this while Pragya! Earlier today, you had been very silent! You even hesitated in talking to me! Yes I know Pragya, I had avoided you for few days as I couldn’t accept that you would take such a step of attempting suicide. I was feeling worried Pragya…I was feeling guilty that again I am responsible in a way for your decisions….” Pragya “Abhi…you are never responsible for whatever I am going through…It’s all in my destiny…I was never destined to what I wish to be….”She said with a lonely tear from her eyes.
Abhi in a high-pitched tone “Damn with your destiny Pragya! Please don’t go back to the same point of saying DESTINY is DISTANCING US!” Pragya let a smirk and looked at him. Abhi “Pragya! Your thinking is not at all right!”
Pragya “That means u are saying that I don’t even have the right to think or what?” Abhi “When did I say so? I am just saying you are not thinking in the right way!” Pragya “If that is so…whatever you think for me is right?” Abhi “Huh? You too have a right to think for yourself…for us Pragya…” He said convincingly.
Pragya “But u said I am not thinking in the right way na…then how can I think for myself or even for us?”
Abhi trying to hold his patience looked into her eyes and said in a soft tone “You are trying to test my patience….Am I right? You are trying to divert the topic from me knowing why are u behaving like this…”
Pragya looked away thinking of how easily he can understand her intentions. The more understanding he had towards her, the more vulnerable she is feeling in front of him.
She remained silent and he went even closer to her lips and sensing that Pragya “No Abhi…this is not right anymore…” She said that in a shivering tone.
Abhi “This is not right anymore? What do u mean Pragya?” He asked sternly still looking at her intently.
Pragya looking at him “I…mean…you and me…all is not right anymore! I feel suffocating with so many relations that we need to satisfy…I feel suffocation more than satisfaction out of our relation…”
Abhi was startled hearing her tell in that way but again he knew she is purposely trying to come with a new point to divert him. He wanted to go in her way and find out what she is hiding from him.
Abhi “Suffocating? Yes I also feel that way Pragya as we are bounded by lots of relations na…like being responsible to take care of Naina and Cutie…for you it’s Ranveer’s family….”
Pragya looked at him thinking what is he now trying to tell.
Abhi “Let’s do like this Pragya….If u feel being here is suffocating… then just come with me! Just the two of us Pragya….We will go somewhere where there is no one to bother us….Just you and me with our love for each other…” He said that emotionally by pinning Pragya against the wall. Pragya hearing that pushed him away by crying heavily and ran out of the room leaving Abhi shocked.
Abhi rushed behind Pragya who was about to leave the house but he grabbed her by the waist and carried her forcefully.
She was still crying heavily which ached his heart but he never let her down although she was struggling in his grip.
Abhi walked towards the sofa and dropped her on it and went to lock the door.
Pragya “What are you trying to do? Are you trying to force yourself on me?” Abhi locking the door “Did I say so?” He smirked.
Pragya “Then why are you locking the door?” Abhi walked towards her and sat beside Pragya.
Abhi “Pragya…you know that whatever reasons you say is not at all right! I am asking you again What happened?”
Pragya, How do I even hide this from him? How can he easily find whatever I told is an excuse to hide my truth.
Abhi “Just remember that I will be with you no matter whatever it is…I am not sure if that’s the case with you…But I promise you that my love is only with you and only for you…”
Pragya hugged in him in return and blurted out “I found out that my child is alive….” Abhi “What? You had a child?” Pragya nodded her head with tears flowing from her eyes continuously and Abhi wiped them off.
Pragya “Haan…Ranveer…” She hesitated and remembering the miserable day of her life she cried even more by hiding her face in Abhi’s chest.
Abhi calmed her by stroking her back gently. Abhi “That’s not you need to tell me…Tell me about our child…” Pragya moving away asked “Our child?” Abhi “If you are the mother then I am the child’s father, that means Our child na…” He said with a pleasant smile.
Pragya “No Abhi…That’s not right…” Abhi “Why not right?” Pragya “You don’t need to bear a burden from me…” Abhi “What burden? What rubbish are you talking Pragya?” Pragya “I am the rubbish Abhi…” Abhi slapped her in anger. Pragya rubbing her cheek in pain looked at him with a confused face.
Abhi “Is it painful?” Pragya nodded her head in response. Abhi taking her hand off from her cheek kissed it and said “Don’t ever say my Pragya as rubbish!” Pragya looked at him with her eyes widely opened.
Abhi hugging her “Pragya…I understand why do u feel this way…but as I told you before, I am madly in love with you and I can’t stand anyone insulting you even if it’s you who is insulting yourself!” Pragya “Why are you like this?” Abhi chuckled hearing that and looked at her breaking away from the hug.
Abhi “You made me like this…” Pragya “That means you are even ready to accept my child and me…” Abhi “Hmm…..Why this Pragula is still not understanding it?” Pragya “I am serious Abhi…Are u really sure? I mean what will society thinks?” Abhi “Pragya! In which century are you in? Society is for us to live in and not to live for! We no need to live for society Pragya!” Pragya “But still…” She looked down with sorrow.
Abhi cupping her face “If it’s about Ranveer and the other issues that has to be handled, then you no need to worry! I know u trust me and your trust is what makes me do wonders!”
Pragya with tears “I seriously don’t know why are you like this…” Abhi smiled widely and kissed her forehead.
Abhi “Tell me who is our child?” Pragya “Rakesh…” Abhi shrieked “What? That shortie??” Pragya nodded her head in excitement of looking at his reaction. Abhi ruffled his hair and remained silent with a stressed look.
Abhi “Are u serious?” Pragya sadly “Why? You don’t like him?” Abhi “No…I mean…like that’s why you had tears while hugging him today, and u always have a soft corner for him!”
Pragya “Yes…” Abhi “That’s why his face will be like thousand watts bulb when he sees you or even hears your name!” Pragya “I think so…” Abhi “That’s why he also wears chasma like you…” Pragya with a proud look “ Like mother like son…” Abhi “That’s why he always find you Pretty?” Pragya “Yes, for all children their mothers are always pretty na?” Abhi remained silent and Pragya “Wait! Did u say that he find me always pretty? That means u never find me always pretty ah?” She frowned in anger looking at him.
Abhi mentally slapped himself of his words and said “You can’t be pretty always na…not like me! You see even if I cry I look handsome! But when u cry it’s like some baby wailing for food in hunger!” Pragya stared at him and Abhi giggled looking at her.
Pragya “I hate you!” Abhi “Thank you baby!” Pragya scrunching her nose “I am serious… I hate you!” Abhi “Really?” He asked pathetically and Pragya beat him lightly on his chest.
Abhi holding her hand “Tell me how u know that he is our child and most importantly tell me whether others know about this as well…” Pragya “I will tell you but what is bothering you that u are hiding from me…” Abhi was about to leave Pragya’s hands but she grabbed his hand firmly.
Pragya “You told me so many things to know my hidden truth…I am not like you Abhi…I want to know and I am very direct in it…Please tell me what is bothering u?” She said looking at him intently.
Abhi “Will you hate me if I tell you the truth?” He asked her in a nervous filled tone. Pragya “I only know how to love you…” Abhi hearing that gained some confidence and was about to tell when the door had heavy knocking sounds.

Naina falls on bed by screaming “ Mummy! Mummy!” Cutie runs and attends to her. She feel helpless of Naina’s tantrums. Cutie trying to call Abhigya for help but their phone was not reachable. Cutie managed to call Purab.
Cutie “ Hello Uncle! Please help me!” She said worriedly. Purab “ Cutie? What happened? U are still awake?” Cutie “ Yes…Ma…” From the back Naina is shouting Mummy even louder. Cutie trying to tell loudly “ Uncle! Please come here! Ma is like small kid here! She want to go playground!” Purab waking up from his bed “ What? Playground? Okok you stay calm Cutie! I am coming now…”
