Episode – 8
Dhaani : (looks around) Who will like life in a hospital ? Get well very soon Dhaani, so that you can go from here as fast as possible.
… : Dont worry, nothing happened to you, miss Dhaani! (laughs)
She turns her head to see who it was and falls on Viplav standing there smiling. She then looks somewhere else while he comes to her.
Viplav : (puts the parcel bag on the table) You haven’t had any disease. (looks at her) You have just fainted, and that also because of tension, that’s all. So (smiles) don’t worry.
Dhaani looks at him with a cute sad face.
Viplav : (holds a box) Now just (turns to look at her forwarding the box) eat fast. Doctor will be coming soon for check-up.
Dhaani : I… I am nit really angry.
Viplav : Hmm… To faint again, right?
Dhaani looks at him.
Viplav : You just said right, that you want to go from here as soon as possible. If you don’t eat anything, then you will never get well fast. (forwards the box again) Here for you! Eat something.
Dhaani looks down.
Viplav : Now what is your anger with me, that you don’t want to eat ?
Dhaani : I am not angry. I am just scared.
Viplav : Scared ?
He bends his legs and looks at Dhaani who was looking sad.
Viplav : Why fear ?
Dhaani : You are taking so much care of me, that’s why.
Viplav : What’s (laughs) scary in doing this ?
Dhaani : You have saved my life.
Viplav : Yeah, so?
Dhaani : Even knowing everything about me you …
Viplav : Knowing what ?
Dhaani : That I am… inauspi…
Viplav gets surprised and looking somewhere else, sighs while Dhaani looks down.
Viplav : Why do you think you are an inauspicious person ?
Dhaani looks at him.
Viplav : Because people around are telling so, right ? Dhaani! You know, these people will not have no other important thing to do instead of hurting you. They can only see what is good for themsemves. But they can never feel others’ feelings and pain. And if you keep letting them do so, they would do more.
Dhaani : What is the need of people to say ? I have seen and realised it since childhood by myself. First baba, then mah, and then my own wedd…
She stops talking letting a tear roll down from her eye. But before it falls on the floor, Viplav catches it in his palm. Dhaani looks at Viplav’s hand and then at him while Viplav was looking at her.
Viplav : (looks at the tear) How many tears will you let your body waste more ? And that also, for someone like that Krishna ?
Dhaani was looking at him teary-eyed.
Viplav : You don’t deserve such low-minded people. And neither has he deserved someone like you.
Dhaani : I understand what you mean, and even I know it. But I can’t make my heart realise it.
Viplav : I know. (looks down and lost in some thoughts) When you really fall in love with someone, then removing that person from your heart and forgetting him is really not an easy job.
Dhaani looks at him surprised.
Dhaani : What do you mean ?
Viplav realizes what he said and looks at her.
Viplav : I mean that… when we truly loved someone, then it’s not easy to forget them. Even I loved my parents the most in this world, and today I still couldn’t forget them. But you must not keep that man in your mind. You must erase all his memories from it.
Dhaani : I wish I can.
Viplav : (smiling to get her mood on) Hmmm… For that, you first need a good friend, someone with whom you can share all your feeling, someone who could understand them. A hand which holding your hand, you can leave all your pain away and get a smile on your face.
Dhaani : Friend ! (sighs) You are right Mr. Viplav, a good friend is really someone you could believe the most in this world after your parents. But… I don’t have any more courage to even trust someone anymore.
Viplav looks on.
Dhaani : Everyone here is fake and nothing in this world can be mine. I even left the only one I had for her well-being. I don’t want to disturb anyone else’s. (smirks) And by the way, who would befriend with an inauspicious ?
Viplav smiles at her and slowly forwards his hand to her. Seeing his hand, she looks at him surprised while he was smiling at her.
Viplav : May I befriend with you ?
Dhaani was looking at him shocked and then looks down upset. Suddenly Viplav wakes her up snapping his fingers in front of her face, which makes her look at him again.
Viplav : Oyye! Where are you lost ?
Dhaani sighs and he forwards his hand again.
Viplav : Friends?
Dhaani : (looks at him) Look! You have done a lot for me saving my life but …
Viplav : If you even dare to start this inauspicious topic again, then I swear, (points the window) I will jump off from the win…
But before he finishes his sentence, she puts her hand in front of his mouth to interrupt his words from coming out. Viplav getting surprised of her gesture, both fall into an eye lock.
Dhaani : Don’t even say such words again!
Viplav was really amazed. That unexpected care of hers makes him speechless. Even the one he loved didn’t think this much about him and left him alone. But an unknown girl whom he just saved from death, showed him what real concern is. He kept staring at her while she was also looking at him.
Suddenly the door gets open and lets the doctor and nurse enter in. Both Viplav & Dhaani get back on their senses and Dhaani realising what she did, slowly removes her hand from that touch while Viplav was looking somewhere else. Embarrassed, Dhaani was trying to change the situation and looks somewhere else brushing her hair behind her ear while Viplav was standing up.
Doctor : Good morning!
Viplav : (looks at the doctor) Good morning doctor.
The doctor and the nurse come to them and Dhaani looks at him smiling.
Doctor : So, Ms.Dhaani, how are you feeling today?
Dhaani : Much better than before doctor.
Doctor : (takes the stethoscope off his shoulders) Very good!
He puts on the stethoscope and starts checking her, while Viplav was looking at Dhaani, while Dhaani steals some glances of Viplav while the doctor was checking her pulse. (screen freezes on Dhaani’s face which was looking at Viplav)
Precap – Dhaani shouts on Viplav and the latter looks on shocked.
