Anika is dressed in a beautiful floor length gown fitting her perfectly on her curves…it has a deep back…Anika sees shivaay he is also dressed in a navy blue three piece suit.. she comes to shivaay and she sees a girl hugging him…her smile turns to sadness when she sees Tia hugging Shivaay…he sees her turning away and his eyes keep following her…party goes on and shivaay and anika have several encounters but they don’t speak to each other…then its time to dance..Shivaay takes Tia and dances Anika is sad and jealous but does not show it…shivaay has a smirk he is enjoying making her jealous…just then..
Arjun – hey anika what are you doing here…chal na lets dance…
Anika – arre yaar what are you doing here…nahi I don’t want to dance…
Arjun – You forgot I work for the same company…chal na…he pulls her on the dance floor…they go to the dance floor and Anika starts dancing and laughing with Arjun…shivaay sees her with Arjun…his eyes are burning with jealousy the way his hands are on her waist and she is laughing like crazy on his jokes…the way she is resting her head on his head….his eyes are just following anika and arjun…
Anika (thinking) Arjun is so sweet made me forget my sadness for some time…im so lucky to have a friend like him…
Arjun – accha chal anika lets have something to drink…he pulls her towards him and takes her to the bar…Shivaay also follows…
Anika – Nai na arjun…I don’t want..still he pulls her and takes her…
At the bar…anika completely ignores shivaay and is busy talking to Arjun…they have cold drinks as anika does not want anything else…after sometime anika gets a call and goes towards the garden as they is lot of music and sound…so she is speaking on the phone..suddenly someone hugs her from back…she stops speaking and realizes the touch…it’s our shivaay…he comes close to her and his face is near her neck….anika breathes heavily….
Anika – shivaay what are you doing…leave me someone might see…
Shivaay (huskily) – I don’t know I just wanted to do this….so I can feel you…he leaves her…
Anika – well till a few minutes I did not exist…anyways I have to get back to Arjun he is waiting for me…
Anika starts leaving…shivaay holds her hand and stops her…
Anika – I think you need to decide what you want…she leaves his hand..
Shivaay (thinking) – what is happening to me why am I feeling this way…and why am I getting jealous…im getting married to tia…he is confused and looks up…and sees Anika speaking on the phone again and smiling…he starts smiling
In the party Arjun joins his friends and meets Maya…she is hot and Arjun is smitten by her….he always sees her in the office but never spoke to her…
Maya – Hi Arjun…u enjoying…
Arjun – hey Maya ya im good…how r u…would you like to dance…
Maya – sure…after this they are on the dance floor and start getting to know each other….
Anika returns but she sees Arjun with Maya and does not want to disturb them…she knew Arjun kinda had a crush on Maya…
She is near the dance floor and feels Shivaay around…she turns he is behind her and just as he is about to take her to the dance…anika gets a call…its Karan…anika goes to attend….
Karan – Hi anika im on my way was late due to a meeting…
Anika – no worries im already here….i will keep everything ready…anika leaves from there…
Shivaay wants to talk to her but Tia calls him and he goes to her…Karan comes and anika joins him and gives him all the papers for the speech and function…
Karan – Attention everyone today we have gathered to witness an epic event, we would like to announce the merger of Varma steels and Grover Industries…he keeps talking about the merger and Verma CEO also speaks…
Karan – enough of business talks…now it’s time to enjoy…cheers everyone…Karan comes close to anika

They keep mingling with the guests….Mallika enters with her father…

Karan – thanks…(karan feels awkward around her and just then music starts)

Shivaay(thinking) – I should ask anika for a dance…he goes to anika and takes her hand…she does not protest and they both start dancing…shivaay’s hands are on her waist and he is holding her close…they are looking in each other’s eyes…here Arjun is dancing with Maya and Karan with mallika…but they steal a look at Anika and see her smiling with Shivaay they realise that anika is happier with Shivaay….
Karan – Mallika I think we should get to know each other…would you mind a date with me tomorrow for dinner…Mallika is very happy and answers yes…
Arjun – Hey maya care for a coffee date tomorrow…
Maya – No way…coffee with you never…she goes…we don’t even know each other…
Arjun – dats why I am asking for coffee…
