Hello! Mishika here! Here is my FF, Destined love. Note that Abhimanyu-Neil aren’t brothers but are best friends. And Akshara-Aarohi are also best friends not sisters.

Destined Love : chapter 1

Akshara’s POV

“Aarohi I still can’t believe you’re getting married!” I exclaim.

“Now things will never be the same!” Anisha says.

“Well I just can’t wait to wear my designer lehenga on the mehndi!” Naira says.

“I’m telling you, you are trapped. Men are trouble! TROUBLE!” Keerti says.

“Guys of course things will stay the same. We don’t live together but we still manage to see each other every week. And Keerti, Neil is so sweet. Very sweet, He’s not like other guys.” Aarohi replies. She can’t hear anything against her love.

“Said no one ever.” Keerti says.

“Yeah but once you’re married everything will change. Honeymoon then dates with your hubby and then a kid and maybe even a dog! You’ll be too busy for us! Right Akshara?” Shefali says.

“Guys soon it will be time for you guys. I’m with Parth, Naira with Kartik and Anisha with Kairav, and Keerti. um… on and off with Naksh. Now there’s only one left.” Suddenly all their eyes divert to me.

“What?! No no no! Ain’t nobody going to marry me! No way! No! NO NO NO!” I protest.

“Come on Akshu not all guys are bad. Take me and Kartik for instance.” Naira says.

“Kartik for instance.” Keerti mimics. “Gal you’re right ain’t no body gonna give you the love you deserve. Love yourself, don’t expect it from anyone. Specially not M-E-N!” She spells out Men.

“So John gives you?” Naira scoffs.

“Which break are you talking about? The one you had 2 weeks ago, on Tuesday or today?” Shefali asks.

“It’s complicated.” Keerti says.

“Come on guys you know how my last relationship went. Mihir was such..” I say.

“Just because one man cheated on you doesn’t mean all guys will.” Naira says.

“Maybe you’ll find someone in my wedding week.” Aarohi winks. And gives me a hug.

“Shut up guys!” I say.

Suddenly Aarohi looks at her phone and squeals..

“My online countdown just beeped! There’s now 11 days, 22 hours and 48 minutes till my wedding!” And Keerti rolls her eyes.

“Oh well come on we have to pick up your engagement lehenga from the tailors.”

Tomorrow is the engagement and I’m so excited!

The next day…”You look beautiful Aaru.” I say as she puts on her earring.

“Oh Akshu I’m so happy. You know every girl dreams of their big day and mine is so close. And I couldn’t have had a better best girl. AKA you!” She says squeezing my hand.

Then Neil rings her. Can’t live without each other!

She reaches for it but I stop her.”Don’t break the tradition! No communication till you see him today.”

“Akshu! Ugh, fine!”

“How do we look?!” Naira says as she, Shefali, Anisha and Keerti stride in.

“Omg you guys look amazing! The brides side will obviously be the best dressed!” Aarohi says.

“Omg Aru you look amazing! Neil toh flat ho jayega!” I say.

“And Akshu so do you!”

“Thanks! Let’s get this gal engaged to her Neil then!” I say.

We then walk Aru in to Samjhawan and she joins Neil on the stage.

They look adorable together.  Literally adorable.

We clap for them after the ring exchange.

“Oh my god its hot in here!” I say fanning my self with tissue.

“I’m just going to go grab some cold drink. Jeez with the AC!” I say to Shefali and Naira.

I go to the stall and bump into a guy.

“It’s okay.” I say breathlessly.

“Hey… do… you know… do you know where the drink is?” And He chuckles.

“Ruko yahan. Mein lekar aya.”

He comes back with 2 glasses of Coke with ice.

“Thanks yaar! It’s too hot for my liking!”

“Yeah it is. Do you wanna go outside to get some fresh air?”

“Oh no I can’t. I’m the best girl.” I say.

“It will be two minutes. And I’m the best man and the lovebirds look pretty busy.”

“Uh.. okay fir.”

We go outside the exit.

“I’m Abhimanyu Birla.”

“Akshara.”

“So are you related to Alia?”

“Nope, besties from Jr school.”

“Interesting. Me and Neil are best friends since high school.”

“Um.. you live here?” He asks.

“Yeah.” I reply.

It’s awkward. Very awkward.

We hear the DJ announcing the performances.

“Chale the hai.” I say and we go in.

We join the others while Neil and Aarohi dance.

“Kis se bat ho rahi thi?” Shefali and Naira ask.

“Ummm..”
