The streets seem so quiet and why shouldn’t it after all it’s 11:00 pm now. Today Laksh was staying back. Uttara had already been sent home by mom. She was reluctant to go but her fragile body needed rest so she HAD to go. As for me mom literally threw me out of the hospital. She knows I can’t leave her alone in that state that also with Laksh, the most irresponsible member of our family. I know it was not a wise decision on my part but still since mom wanted it I had to give in. But I could take a u turn right now and go back and get myself disguised as a ward boy or something and stay by her side all night without her knowledge. That would be fun but….
Sanskar maheshwari stop over thinking and concentrate on your driving. Your mother is going to be alright. Besides the doctors have said that we could take her back by the end of the week. So I am increasing my car’s speed with this thought. But what if she is not alright a small voice in my head said. Arrrrrgggghhhhh. I hate these small voices In my head.
So I guess I won’t be able to have a good night’s sleep until and unless I meet my mother. So I am taking a u turn and going back. As soon as I took the turn everything turned black in front of my eyes and I was conscious only of a seafaring pain in my body till the blackness favoured me completely.
FEW HOURS LATER:
“ sanskar maheshwari, had an accident on this very spot around one and a half hour ago. The police are suspecting foul play however no such evidence has turned up. As of yet we have tried contacting the hospital authorities but they remained unavailable. Mr Maheshwari has been admitted to the the same hospital where earlier this week his mother was admitted for a minor heart attack. A source close to the Maheshwaris has said that he is out of danger. We all hope for a speedy recovery if India’s youngest business tycoon.”
So boring and also so irritating for heaven’s sake a person had an accident not a jackpot that they were advertising it. The media can be so irritating at times. Ok a business tycoon had an accident I understood but he is also a human being right. Ok fine the SANSKAR MAHESHWARI had an accident I agree but shouldn’t he and his family be given some space. Anyways why am I bothered.
Trrrrnnnngggg . And there goes my stupid phone. Who could be calling at this time and saw the caller id. No wonder.
“hello” I said putting on the most disinterested voice I could come up with.
“Hmmm. Yes. I saw it yeah. What? Now, in the middle of the night. Please can’t it be tomorrow morning?”
“Ok. Fine. I am coming. Yeah.”
I sighed and put my phone down.
It was going to be a long night SB.
