Nandini is crying in her room and she hears the news that Rajveer is going to attend the rally. She runs outside to watch the news. She then comes back to her room and calls Gayatri. Gayatri asks who is this? Nandini is surprised. Gayatri says she left the house and all relationships behind herself and that is why this question. Nandini asks her what kind of mother she is. How she can let Rajveer attend the rally when there is a life threat for him. Gayatri says they keep getting such threats and nothing will happen to Rajveer. She doesn’t listen to Nandini and hangs. Nandini feels worried for Rajveer.
Nandini’s parents come to her and explain to her that there are always arguments between husband and wife. That doesn’t mean she returns to her house. Nandini leaves from there saying she is going to do her duty of wife.
Rajveer arrives at the rally. Abhay is with him. They greet everyone and then go on the stage. An assassination aims at Rajveer, but security guards keep coming in between. Nandini is on her way to the rally location. Rajveer is giving speech when Nandini arrives there. She looks around and sees the assassination firing a bullet. She runs on the stage to save Rajveer. She pushes him, and instead on chest, the bullet hits near Rajveer’s shoulder. Gayatri, who is watching this on TV, is shocked. She comes to the hall and calls Dadi and everyone out. Dadi asks what happened. Gayatri is unable to say it. Uttara comes and says she just saw on TV that Rajveer got shot. Dadi is very angry at Gayatri. She asks her what happened to her informers. If she had even a little clue that Rajveer’s life is on risk, then she would never let him go to the rally. Gayatri is speechless. Uttara says this is not time for all this, they should go to hospital. Everyone leaves to go to the hospital.
They come there and Abhay tells them if Nandini didn’t come, then everything would be over. Doctor comes out and informs everyone that bullet just touched him and left, so he’s saved. He will be conscious in couple of hours. Dadi thanks Nandini. Nandini still feels guilty as in spite of her being there, she couldn’t save Rajveer completely. She wishes that bullet had hit her instead Rajveer. Dadi tells her not to say like that. Dadi then says if any of them even had a clue, then they wouldn’t let Rajveer attend the rally. Nandini looks at Gayatri, but doesn’t say anything.
Later, Gayatri tells Abhay to find out who did this. She says they will use this incident against their enemy and from this, they can also get many sympathy votes. Abhay leaves. Nandini is standing there and she listened to everything. She questions Gayatri that how she can take advantage of such incident. If she has no feeling or care for Rajveer. Nandini says she had heard a son can be wrong, but a mother can never be wrong, but Gayatri even proved that wrong, and if she wants, then she can tell everyone that Gayatri knew about this, but she won’t because she doesn’t want everyone to question mother’s love. She further says if anything had happened to Rajveer, then she would have never forgave her. Dadi listens the last sentence and asks what forgiveness. Both Nandini and Gayatri are quiet. They are saved when the doctor comes and says they have shifted Rajveer in ICU. Gayatri asks if they can see him. Doctor says, yes, but only one person. Gayatri is going, but Dadi stops her and asks Nandini to go instead. Nandini is surprised, but also somewhat happy.
Precap: Gayatri tells Abhay that Nandini’s intentions are not good. They have to call media as soon as possible so whole world can see what their enemies have done to Rajveer and gain votes. Gayatri turns and finds Nandini standing there.
