Chapter- 2

Hello, I’m back with next part! Thank you so much for the likes and comments. So, let’s start from where we left it. I mean when Sanskaar is remembering Swara’s entrance in her life.

After the party, Sanskaar was scolded by Sujata in his room but he doesn’t tell about Swara. Sanskaar tries to forget her but he gets another shock that Swara will be in the same school with him. He is told to go with her only as she is new. Sanskaar has to agree and all four of them, i.e. Swara, Sanskaar, Laksh and Uttara goes together.

Swara, Uttara and Laksh are always talking but Sanskaar remains silent and tries to be far from Swara. The school years are passing and Sanskaar has realised it very well that he can never be comfortable with girls, especially Swara. He just can’t handle her presence and lands himself in one or the other trouble. Whereas, Swara sees Sanskaar as topper of not only academics but sports too. She wants to talk with him but Sanskaar never gives her a chance. Still, Swara is always keep on trying. (Sanskaar’s imagination ends in the above lines only, if you didn’t understand).

The college era starts and Sanskaar notices Swara being quite popular. He knows that her voice is really magical but yes, she is more beautiful now. He sees many boys trying to impress her. It makes him angry but Swara’s smartness balances all.

This is not left a secret that Swara starts to like Sanskaar. She is hurt when he ignores her and keeps himself away which is noticed by all. However, she never admits that whereas, Sanskaar never realises it. It has been two years now that they are playing hide and seek with themselves as well as their feelings.

In college, all gathers in the hall waiting for the next performance. Outside the hall, a boy and girl are dragging another boy with them. The boy being dragged, in an angry voice, says, “Lucky! Uttara! Leave me! I don’t like all this! Wait! If someone will see us like this, then?” He is trying to pull himself back.

Uttara replies, “No Bhai! I don’t care of anyone except my family, friends and myself. Bhai, Shona is going to perform now! And, you have to come! I’m not going to leave you.” She pulls him back and he says to Laksh, “Lucky, at least you listen to me! Being with her, it seems you too lost your mental stability.” Laksh replies, “I am doing this for your good only Bhai! Now, please come!”

They both finally brings him inside and makes him sit. “I’m not going to spare you for this!” Sanskaar warns them and they just laugh at him. Uttara leaves to meet her Shona as she is getting ready for her performance. Uttara sees a girl sitting on a chair with guitar in her hands.

“Shona!” Uttara calls her and she turns back to her. The girl hugs her with a wide smile on her face and Uttara says to her, “I got him here!” The girl breaks the hug and looks with amazement. The name ‘Swara Gadodia’ announces and Uttara says, “It should be rocking like always. All the best! Bye!” She goes and Swara approaches the stage.

Sanskaar’s heartbeat is increasing and he closes his eyes, only to find Swara. The lights go off and the music starts. Sanskaar looks forward and sees Swara sitting with her guitar in centre but she is not visible due to dim light. Soon Swara starts to sing and her melodious voice’s magic is being felt by all.

The song’s name is ‘Thodi Der’ from movie ‘Half Girlfriend’. She sings,

“Dil Charkhe Ki Ik Tu Dori

Dil Charkhe Ki Ik Tu Dori

Sufi Iska Rang Haye

Isme Jo Tera Khwaab Piroya

Isme Jo Tera Khwaab Piroya

She is looking down towards her guitar as she is playing it and the spot light falls on her seeking everyone’s attention so as Sanskaar. Her face glows and she continue to sing.

“Dil Bharta Nahin
Aankhen Rajjti Nahin

Dil Bharta Nahin

Aakhein Rajti Nahin

Chahe Kitna Bhi Dekhti Jaaun

Waqt Jaaye Main Rok Na Paaun”

She looks up and find Sanskaar who diverts his gaze from her. She starts staring him with her innocent eyes and he stands up to leave from there which makes Swara move.

“Tu Thodi Der Aur Thehar Ja Soneya
Tu Thodi Der Aur Thehar Jaa”

She sings like saying to him to stop and don’t leave her.

“Tu Thodi Der Aur Thehar Ja Zaalima
Tu Thori Der Aur Thehar Jaa”

Sanskaar is still and his heart is somewhere feeling like it is for him. He goes lost in her eyes, they have an eye-lock. Though they don’t talk usually but their eyes are speaking a lot today. Swara breaks the eye-contact as the music in between ends. However, something unexpected happens.

“Haaye Din Tere Bin Ab Jee Na Paaye
Din Tere Bin Ab Jee Na Paaye
Saans Na Leti Raat”

Sanskaar starts singing and everyone in hall gets shock to hear him. Swara compliments him by keeping the song on.

“Ishq Karein Tere Honthon Se
Ishq Karein Mere Honthon Se
Bas Ik Teri Baat”

Sanskaar steps forward with a bright smile on his face and Swara is too much surprise as well as happy as he sings,

“Teri Doori Na Sahoon
Door Khud Se Rahoon

Teri Doori Na Sahoon
Door Khud Se Rahoon”

Sanskaar comes on stage and Swara’s heart is jumping in happiness as she feels his closeness beside herself.

“Tere Pehlu Mein Hi Reh Jaun
Tu Hi Samjha Jo Main Chaahun”

He keeps his hands on her shoulder and joins his forehead with her head. He closes his eyes as well as Swara. 

“Tu Thodi Der Aur Tehar Ja Soneya
Tu Thodi Der Aur Tehar Jaa”

He makes her stand and keeps her guitar on the stool. She is having tears in her eyes and sings with the wide smile,

“Tu Thodi Dair Aur Thehar Ja Zaalima
Tu Thodi Dair Aur Thehar Jaa”

He takes her face in his hands and stares her with pure as well as deep love in his eyes. The music is playing and she bursts out into tears. He wipes her tears and she hugs him tightly, hiding her face in his blazer. He too hugs her back.

“Naiyo Lagna, Naiyo Lagna

Now, both of them sings and slowly-slowly breaks the hug. Swara’s eyes are speaking that yes, she has fallen for him. Her heart and soul only take his name and she can’t bear a

moment without him. His running away breaks her always.

“Dil Minnate Kare
Na Tu Jaa Na Pare

Dil Minnate Kare
Na Tu Jaa Na Pare”

Sanskaar sings as Swara moves back and starts to leave because of the silent pain he gave her. She stops but does not turn back. She wipes her tear and he continue to sing,

“Tere Jaane Se Jee Na Paaun”

Swara immediately move back and hugs him again tightly.

“Tu Thodi Dair Aur Thehar Ja Soneya
Tu Thodi Dair Aur Thehar Jaa

Tu Thodi Der Or Ther Ja Zaalima
Tu Thodi Der Or Ther Ja”

Swara sings as she breaks the hug again just to stare him. Sanskaar holds her waist from one hand and wipes tears with the other. She smiles at him and he continue to sing,

“Tu Thodi Der Aur Thehar Ja Zaalima
Tu Thodi Der Aur Thehar Ja… (Thehar Ja)”

Sanskaar keeps his arms around her neck, so she blushes.

Bas Thodi Der Aur Thehar Ja”

He makes her look at him and so she does. All can be seen in her eyes is the pure and true love for him and only him. The song ends and a loud applause is heard in the hall.
