Deepa Chauhan gets eliminated from MasterChef India
MasterChef India recently witnessed its top ten home cooks going through some intriguing trials. This week, the contestants were put through challenges designed to put not just their cooking skills, but also their understanding of the culinary arts, to the test.
This week Deepa Chauhan was eliminated from MasterChef kitchen after failing the cooking with fire test. She made a mistake while smoking and steaming her dish which ruined what she wanted to cook.
For the unversed, Deepa Chauhan, a 51-year-old woman who sells Thai and Middle Eastern pastes, runs a tiny business. She calls Chef Garima Arora her role model and is highly inspired by her.
Recently, Chef Kunal Kapur was seen on the show who is also a dear friend of Chef Vikas. Chef Vikas Khanna talked about their friendship and said, “I never understood television because I am only a restaurant chef, but when I had to face it, Chef Kunal Kapur’s guidance was crucial. I could only do this because he always steered and supported me. He has good business acumen and so when it comes to matters which need his words of wisdom, he is only a call away. In my personal life, it is always Ranveer, but in my professional life, it is Kunal who has been my constant.”
