Actress Sonia Rathee who rose to fame with her role of Rumi Desai in Broken But Beautiful 3 was loved by millions for her onscreen chemistry with Sidharth Shukla. The actress is now super excited for the Web series ‘Decoupled’.
Sonia talked about the series in a recent interview and also shared her experience of working with R Madavan. He said, “We shot this about a year ago, so technically he was the first actor I ever shared screen space with and I wouldn’t have had it any other way”.
The trailer of the series was released recently where Sonia can be seen essaying the role of Masha.
Talking about her character in the series, Sonia said, “So, I got to play Masha, a 25-year-old flight attendant. She’s a confident and independent woman out to conquer the world. Because she started working from a young age, she had to grow up fast which meant she missed out on the typical teenage debauchery that her counterparts were able to experience. Now that her life is finally in balance, she’s ready to live the moments she couldn’t before”.
Talking about her experience of working with Madhavan, Sonia shared: “We shot this about a year ago, so technically he was the first actor I ever shared screen space with and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. He’s an incredible actor and there was just so much to learn from him. It was a beautiful experience to work with someone who is as kind and talented as him and the learning from this experience is something that I will forever hold on to.”
