Not many of you have commented on the last part. I know there is a lot of boring family drama going on but it is necessary to move on in the story because it will help you understand what complications there will be in RagLak’s path.
AP looks towards Swara and runs to her while shivering
AP: Sw…sww…swwwa…swwaaaraaa
Swara looks at her with teary eyes
AP holds her by her shoulders and shakes her
AP: where is my son? Why are you wearing such clothes?
Swara: Maa I…
AP: don’t call me that! Where is my son!
Swara: he is no more
Thuddddd… she felt warmth on her right cheek. That’s right, AP slapped her.
Swara cries: he went to a business tour to Malaysia and never came back. Me and his son have been waiting for him but he wasn’t coming.
AP: and you are just saying that he died? What kind of a girl are you?
Swara: Maa authorities have declared him as dead.
AP: you are such a bad omen for my family
DP: Annapurna just stop. She is also like a daughter to me. Let her stay here! She has nowhere to go.
AP is shocked seeing DP with such a big change of behaviour.
AP: Ji but she is
DP: no buts and ifs.
He picks up Swayam: look at our little heir. The son of our elder son. He looks exactly like sanskar
AP’s heart melts and she goes to Swayam while Swara is standing there
RP and Ragini are not understanding what this is all about so they look at each other.
Laksh whispers: she is my Bhabhi. She ran away with my brother and were settled in London
Ragini gets tears in her eyes finding out that Laksh lost his brother.
Laksh signals RP and Ragini to come with him
RP: I need to go everyone so I will see you all in a day. Then we can start the ceremonies.
DP: sure and we should get these done as soon as possible
RP: yah I was thinking the same
AP: I will prepare myself everything with my real daughter who brought my son back to us
DP: yes let Ragini be here we will do all the shopping for her
RP: but I need to buy the things for her wedding
DP: don’t worry she is also our daughter now
RP gets happy and leaves while Swara is not understanding what is happening in this house.
DP: Swara! Go to Sanskar’s room and take some rest. We will talk later
Swara nods and heads upstairs.
DP: Ragini you go to the guest room Laksh will show you
Laksh holds her hand and they both head upstairs too
AP: I am so happy to see my Laksh like this but this other one who came with the worst news! She has always been such a bad influence for our family by breaking our bonds and separating us.
DP: we can’t really do much about her. She is the mother of our blood. You calm down
AP: don’t forget that she is bengalan. She will raise our son the way she wants to
DP: this is why I want her to stay here. I can’t tolerate my grandchild have her modern ideas.
AP: have you thought of anything?
DP: give me some time and you will find out
AP thinks: what has he planned now?
Laksh’s room:
Ragini: why did you bring me here Laksh I need to go to the guest room as per you dad said!
Laksh: Ragini please stop being such an obedient bahu. Be an obedient wife
Ragini: Mr. I am not your wife yet
Laksh: you will be soon Mrs.
Ragini looks down and Laksh encircles his hands around her waist then kisses her forehead.
Swara is passing by and sees this entire scene.
Swara sees swayam and thinks: if only I had married Laksh instead of Sanskar, I wouldn’t be a widow at such a young age. My son has no father. He is such a small kid. What would I say to the world? I am fed up of justifying myself. If I had married Laksh we would be in this family happily living. And the most important thing is that Sanskar would be alive!
DP witnesses the entire scene and he calls someone:
Caller: what is it? Important meeting
DP: sorry to disturb you but this is important
Caller: what happened now?
DP explains him whatever happened after he cut his call. DP moves to his study
Caller: you know what to do next!
DP: Ram is going to come back tomorrow for the ceremonies to begin
Caller: we need to do this fast
DP: I will do it tonight
Caller: good!
DP: can I ask you something?
Caller: I know what you will ask
DP: then tell me why you hate RP so much?
Caller: you know Sujata right?
DP: of course… why?
Caller: I am Rohan. Her first and only child.
DP: what!!!
Rohan turns around and has hate on his face in his office. (reveled to be Ravi Dubey who plays a grey shade in this ff)
Rohan: my father was an alcoholic and abusive man. My mom fell in love with RP and they both left me! They left me! I built myself up and that man died! I was so happy to be finally free but then I found out that my mother had passed away when I tried to reach out to her. I loved my mom but this RP…. I have been refusing to do any deals with him and that has made him lose a lot of money. Just like he snatched my mother from me I will snatch his happiness.
DP: you have never spoken about this
Rohan: I am telling you this so you can help me complete my revenge
DP: I will help you.
They cut the call and DP gets thinking: I met Sujata in the college but she married an abusive man. I had hope and was going to confess but RP made her his already. He has always snatched my things. I cannot tell this to Rohan but I have my own reasons to be against RP.
He has a determined face to have his revenge too.
AP comes in the study: ji I thought that we should get dresses for them already
DP: call Swara
AP: but why?
DP: DO AS I SAY! DO NOT CROSS QUESTION ME!
AP just gets upset and calls Swara in the study
Ragini and Laksh are in the balcony of Laksh’s room looking at the sky and remembering Ansh.
Ragini: Laksh do you think he is happy?
Laksh: of course he is jaan
Ragini: Laksh I miss him. Whoever gets close to me
Laksh goes and holds her from her shoulders and looks into her eyes.
Laksh: I am close to you and will never go away. I already told you not to blame yourself.
He wipes her tears and kisses her forehead.
Meanwhile in the study:
AP: what are you saying?
DP: you stay out of it!
AP: I am your wife and I have rights on decisions too! Its about my children. This girl has always been
DP: I told you to stay out of it. Call laksh right now and tell Ragini to come in five minutes too
AP is so frustrated but she has to do what he says
RagLak are talking but AP comes furiously in the room and they both get scared.
Laksh: what happened ma?
AP: come in the study now Laksh and Ragini beta you come after 5 minutes
Laksh: what happened now?
AP: just come
Ragini gets confused so she even follows them but this is not noticed by Laksh and AP.
DP: glad you are here Laksh.
Laksh: what happened dad.
Swara is standing there looking at him with hopeful eyes but he doesn’t even care or isn’t affected by her presence.
Ragiini is listening to the entire conversation and DP is looking at her then smirks.
DP: look Laksh your first love is here standing here in front of you. Don’t you see her state? Doesn’t it wrentch your heart? Remember your love for her? Ragini came in between you guys.
Swara: Laksh uncle has offered me to get married to you. Now we can be together if you agree to.
Ragini has tears in her eyes thinking that she came in between them. She covers her mouth and runs to Laksh’s room.
In the study:
Laksh tooks at Swara with full disgust in his eyes and then he looks at DP: you both disgust me! I have only got hate for both of you. Ragini and me have a soul connection! You betrayed me only for my own benefit. How could you think that I will marry my Bhabhi dad? You guys don’t fear god do you? Wow! This place looks like hell to me.
Swara: I am sorry Laksh I thought you were
Laksh: do not dare to take my name with your filthy mouth
DP: LAKSH! Think about Swayam!
Laksh: I shouldn’t think about Swayam. She should think about him. Instead of finding a new husband for yourself take care of your son yourself. Make yourself strong. I only ever loved and love Ragini.
Swara feels guilty for forgetting Sanskar that easily and breaks down on the floor.
Laksh to DP: and you? You want your elder son’s widow to marry your younger son? Can’t we take care of your grandchild as a grandfather and as an uncle? Ridiculous isn’t it? I should have never come back here. I came because of Ragini but you guys… ugh
AP feels proud of Laksh and goes to hug him while he cries out loud.
Laksh: what kind of psychos are these guys maa?
AP pats on his back.
Screen freezes on the sad face of Laksh.
