Chapter 3:
“ladies and gentlemen! to cheer up this lazy weekend, we are going to conduct a contest between our two fresh couples who are Riddhima and Vansh as well as ishani and angre” Aryan announced while the whole family was sitting in the hall. “what is this now?” vansh asked being clueless that what’s going in the house. “okay so bhabi has complained that everyone is so boring here so, to prove her wrong i bought a contest” aryan explained. “INTERESTING VERY INTERESTING” vansh mumbles and narrowed his eyes at Riddhima while she smile back at him.
“what’s the contest?” ishani asked out of curiosity. “so both the couples are challenged to eat green chilis and whoever among a couple will eat more will be the winner. So this war is between husband and wife” aryan further said. “ohhoo what kind of competition is this, it’s not good” dadi protested. “come on dadi it will be fun” chanchal chachi said. “i will win for sure as i like spicy” Riddhima said and wink at vansh while he just stare at her. Both the couples were ready. Ishani just took a bite and surrender so angre was the winner. On the other side, vansh was eating and staring in Riddhima’s red and teary eyes. She has turned all red but was not ready to give up. “stubborn” vansh thought to himself and may be he can’t see her in this state so said “i am done” Riddhima smiled brightly at her victory. “looseeerrr” Riddhima shouted and ran to kitchen. While vansh also drink alot of water.

Riansh’s Room:
Vansh was roaming here and there although he had alot of water but still his tongue was burning. Riddhima entered inside with a dairy milk in her hand. “want some?” she extended seeing vansh restless. “nahh” he said. “ufff you and your ego” Riddhima signed. She placed chocolate on the table after taking a bite and came infront of vansh. He give her a questionable look but before he could have said something, Riddhima raised her heels matching vansh’s height and placed her glossy lips on his slightly rough ones. He was stunned with her actions. But unknowingly he closed his eyes as he was feeling relief from the burn. Riddhima’s tongue mingles with his and he can feel the taste of the chocolate. He pulled her closer and deepen the kiss. Both were lost in the bliss. After a while, they broke the kiss when they were breathless. (kash if this happened in serial but naahhh😷)

Riddhima was staring at the floor feeling shy and feeling vansh’s intense gaze on herself. She took a deep breath. “don’t be senti i kissed you just to make you feel better” she said lightening the environment and went from there. Vansh was still in shock that he kissed a stranger ohh no she is his legal wife.

Next day:
“vansh ” Riddhima said entering in the room while he was packing his bag to go to office. “what?” he looked at her. “can you drop me at mall i have to buy gift for sejal, its her birthday and i ….” before she could have finished he said “okay” he was not interested in her useless talks.

Riansh reached at the mall and vansh  stopped his car. “how will you go back?” he asked sternly. “i will take taxi” Riddhima said casually. “Mrs Vansh Rai Singhania in taxi that’s cheap” he said. “being a typical rich brat” she commented. “excuse me” he raised his eyebrows. “never mind” she roll her eyes while saying. “i will come with you but be quick please” he said. “will try” she said with a fake smile. They both came inside when Riddhima went to the shop while vansh was talking on phone. “yes angre, i want this deal done soon” he said in a bossy tone. “okay will talk later” he said seeing Riddhima coming towards him.

“i am back” she said returning with a gift. Then only there was a gunshot and it was for none other than vansh rai Singhania. Next moment, he was on the floor as bullet hit his chest. ” vanshhhh” Riddhima screamed and gift fell from her hand. She sit beside him and started patting his cheeks “you will be fine vansh” she said while he has almost closed his eyes. “help please” Riddhima shouted and a guy from the crowd called the ambulance. Soon Vansh was taken to the hospital and Riddhima was with him. She is sitting on the bench in the hospital hall when the whole family came. “dadii” she hugged dadi seeing her. Her cream coloured saree has blood stains of Vansh. “this is all because of me dadi i took vansh with me” she was blaming herself and crying. “no beta he will be fine and it’s not your fault” dadi consoled her.

“vansh got conscious” doctor said coming out of the cabin. Everyone signed in relief as they have been waiting for hours to hear this news. “you can meet him but only two at a time” doctor said. “come on Riddhima let’s go” dadi said. “i don’t want to go” she was hesitant and scared after that she can’t face vansh. Dadi thought to give some time to Riddhima so she went with aryan. After a while, the whole family met vansh but Riddhima was still sitting at the bench gaining courage to meet him.
