The times are testing and our entertainment industry is busy reviving from all the loss it has during the lock down period. Although the shows are back on TV but the broken link to the story proved to be a curse for many shows. In this period, many longrunners and some usually bankable shows witnessed an unexpected slump and are now making it to the list of the shows which the makers are planning to axe.
Recently, we reported about how Sony TV’s Bhakarwadi is all set to call it a wrap as the show did not manage to fetch good numbers post lockdown. And now, we hear that Dangal TV’s Pyaar Ki Luka Chuppi is also all set to call it a wrap.
The show has been performing well overall before the lockdown but post the things got functional again, there has been a sink in the numbers. And now the makers have decided to pull the plug on the show. The news is that the show will air its last episode on 6th September 2020. The show stars Rahul Sharma and Aparna Dixit in lead roles where a while ago, actor Alan Kapoor joined the cast as the parallel lead.
Albeit, the exact reason for the show to go off-air is not known as of yet. The show is produced by Rashmi Sharma, who as we know is behind the most iconic shows that include the likes of Shakti… Astitva Ke Ehaas Ki and Saath Nibhana Saathiya among others.
