Curse Of Love Outside Marriage ~ Five Intertwined Lives – Episode 9

The episode starts with Pari asking in astonishment, “What?” Rohan repeats what he just said, “Tanya and Ajit have got married!” Pari eyes grow big in amazement. She continues to question, “How cheap? When Tanya lost you, she has gone for your younger brother, Disgusting!” Rohan is annoyed with her words and says, “Stop it Pari, Tanya is not that type of woman as you think! She cannot stoop so low that once she got divorced with one Sippy, she will seduce another, I’m sure there might have been some pressure from the family or something else which made her to take such a drastic step!” Pari gets jealous and furious on seeing Rohan support Tanya, “Oh really Rohan? If you had so much trust and respect for her then why did you leave her and choose ME, you should have stayed with her itself right?” Rohan is dumbstruck at that question; however, he justifies himself saying, “Because I love you Pari and a loveless marriage is a curse on any individual! It was no fault of Tanya that I chose you over her” Pari however is still irritated hearing Rohan backing for Tanya. She shouts, “Well then if you feel that she is no faultless and had no other intentions in getting married with your brother, then go on support her as you wish, but I am not going to change my opinions about her, I feel she has married Ajit to get what she had lost when you had left her and I’m not going to change that!” After saying that she swiftly leaves from there still being furious with Rohan. However, Rohan does not pay heed to her, stares constantly at the message informing about Ajit and Tanya’s marriage. He gasps seeing that.

Night time, Sippy Mansion

Tanya is inside Ajit’s room seated on his bed, clenching hard the bedsheet from both the sides. Just then, Ajit comes inside. Tanya gets up quickly on seeing him. Ajit realises the awkwardness of the situation and tells her, “No need to get up Tanya!” on saying that he inches close to his bed, picks up his pillow and blanket and says, “I will adjust myself on the divan, you make yourself comfortable here Tanya!” he turns around when Tanya calls him. As, Ajit turns towards her, she thanks him with an innocent smile. For a moment, Ajit gets lost in her smile and gets looking on at her. He comes back to his senses, when Tanya snaps. He looks down embarrassingly realising what he had been just doing, then looks back at her and utters, “It’s alright Tanya, I know how awkward you must be feeling when you are forced into a new relationship just when you broke ties from an old one. But don’t worry I will not force you, nor take advantage of our relationship ANYTIME UNTIL BOTH OF US ARE READY, so you can rest reassured!” Tanya is amazed at his words and yet once more a smile passes on her face. Once again, Ajit feels a change of emotions within himself and gets mesmerized in her smile. But then, he tries stopping himself, by looking away from Tanya and then apprehensively stating, “I don’t know if anyone else has told you this, but I want to tell you……” At that moment, Ajit feels his tongue stuck, unable to utter a word anymore, while Tanya expectantly looks towards him and asks, “What is it, Ajit? Go on tell me” Ajit hesitantly and swiftly says, “YOU LOOK REALLY BEATIFUL WHEN YOU SMILE, TANYA!” Tanya is astonished and embarrassingly looks away. Ajit sticks his tongue out after saying that and then continues, “Since it’s really late, I think we both should take rest now!” Tanya nods. Soon, Ajit goes near the divan, while Tanya lies on the bed. As they are about to close their eyes, both smilingly sign at each other “Good Night”. Once, Ajit poses himself to be sleeping, Tanya opens her eyes, looks towards Ajit and reminisces his last words praising her smile and slowly dozes off continuing to watch him dotingly. After she sleeps, Ajit who had not slept till then, opens his eyes and gets thinking, “What was happening to me? Why did I feel myself lost in Tanya’s smile? Is it that I have started to fall for her?”

Soon months pass away and with passing time, Tanya and Ajit become closer towards each other. As, each becomes a pillar of support for the other. Ajit started becoming more successful in his career as Tanya helped him, with his tasks of managing new facilities and equipment of the hospital, which he had been handling, being the main Hospital facility manager of the Sippy hospital. One day, Ajit comes home and tells Tanya, “Tanya, tomorrow is the biggest testimony of my career as tomorrow I have to present the details of the new technologies and equipment existing in the Sukumani Sippy hospital in front of our biggest clients. I am so worried and going to die in this tension!” Tanya who is now nine and a half months pregnant, looks teasingly at Ajit, approaches him, holds his hands and then slowly places them on her tummy. Ajit is surprised at her action and looks up at her. Tanya says, “Look Ajit, even JUNIOR AJIT SIPPY is laughing at you, seeing your unnecessary tension! He is saying go on Papa, you are going to make it big tomorrow because ME AND MY MAMMA ARE THERE FOR YOU!” Ajit is stunned with tears filling his eyes to hear those words. He takes his hands off and slowly places his head on her tummy, pronouncing, “Thanks a lot Baby, for supporting your Dad with your encouraging words! I am just waiting for your arrival.” Tanya smiles. Ajit continues, “And please tell your Mamma, you are not Junior Ajit Sippy, but Junior Tanya Ajit Sippy!” Tanya is gladly surprised on hearing it, while Ajit tells her. “Thanks a lot Tanya for being my support when I need a hand on my shoulder the most”, while saying that, he unconsciously hugs her tight. Tanya is startled by his sudden affection; however, she does not stop him and unknowingly reciprocates his hug. And in that hug, both feels their hearts fluttering fast, ignorant to the fact that they have started developing feelings for each other.

Next morning, RP Flats, Bandra

In the washroom, in front of the mirror, Pari cups her mouth in shock. She then lifts up the pregnancy detection kit and utters, “I AM PREGNANT!”
