“What happened? May i know Why are you flashing your thirty two teeth??” Sanskar asked Laksh sarcastically.
“Exactly what happened? You told Swara about her confessions? What was her reaction?? You both patched up again…. Yeah i knew it…. You know you both look so good together… I am feeling so good to know that finally Swara and Sanskar are together….” Laksh said in one breath and Sanskar shook his head in disbelief.
“Nothing like that happened…. I didn’t tell her anything” Sanskar said with displeasure.
” but why?” Laksh asked him in the same displeased tone…..
” my wish!” Sanskar answered arrogantly before walking out of their mansion.
“God! When will i get my two annoying criminals back?” Laksh asked himself as he also started moving out.
“Statute!” Laksh and Sanskar heard Swara say and Laksh froze on the spot while Sanskar moved away and hid behind a pillar.
“You lucky boy…. You know something? That idiot brother of yours… Mr monkey….. I thanked him….. But that stupid monster….. He literally ignored me……. So stupid of him…. He ignored me…. Swara Gadodia?” Swara yelled her lungs out.
“Correction madam….. You are no more Swara Gadodia…. Call yourself Swara Sanskar Maheshwari….” Laksh corrected her as again a small smile crept on Sanskar’s lips hearing that name.
“Umm…. Swara Monkey Maheshwari or Swara Donkey Maheshwari….. Or Swara Monster Maheshwari sounds better don’t you think” swara asked sarcastically at his correction.
Sanskar’s smile vanished…. Even if she missed her so called best friend, she’ll never tell him when she is in her senses !!
“What kind of a girl is she?” Sanskar mumbled lowly.
“I think Swara smile-less maheshwari suits him the best” Swara commented asked Laksh chuckled….
“Agreed! I don’t know why my bro changed from Sanskar Maheshwari to ‘i forgot how to smile’ Maheshwari!?” Laksh commented with sadness…
Swara’s heart ached hearing that. It was not her fault but…. The fact that Sanskar lost his smile was Swara…… He rarely smiled after their marriage…..
“Are you okay?” Laksh asked with concern Seeing Swara’s face droop down.
“Um…. yeah” Swara answered before moving out of the room….
Sanskar immediately hid himself to prevent getting discovered….. He tried following her….. She went out in her car to her college…… All this while he actually forgot that Swara still goes to her college to complete her studies…….
Just then Ragini came running….
“Oh no…. She went again… Now I’ll be late again….” She said childishly and stomped her foot on the ground.
“Come…. I’ll drop you” Sanskar offered help….
Ragini looked at him…. Ever since she knew Sanskar, he never talked to her…. Not even the hi – bye stuff….
“What happened to him” Ragini mumbled lowly so that Sanskar wouldn’t hear…. Unfortunately he did hear and felt bad but chose not to show his feelings.
“Are you coming?” He asked finally.
“Uh? Yeah!” Ragini replied dubiously.
“So come fast!” Sanskar said pulling Ragini with him…..
Ragini was confused to hell!
”What actually happened to him? We never talked to each other before but today something is strange….. Okay maybe these both patched up again….. Or maybe no…… There’s something else….” Ragini thought with a dumbfound look on her face.
“Madam….. Now are you planning me to tell the directions?? ” Sanskar snapped her out of her thoughts.
“Uh? Yeah…..” Ragini said and guided him with the directions.
“Sanskar! What exactly happened to you?” Ragini asked finally.
Sanskar looked at Ragini critically.
“I am sorry” Ragini mumbled as she got scared because of His glare.
Sanskar looked ahead without even giving her a glance.
Ragini stared at Sanskar in horror.
“Huh! Swara was right…… Sanskar is arrogant… Huh…!!” She muttered under her breath.
“I heard that” Sanskar said without moving her eyes from the road.
“So what? I never said anything wrong” Ragini snapped arrogantly.
“Whatever……” Sanskar answered with an eye roll.
Ragini continued helping him with the directions till the time they spotted Swara’s car….
They followed her car when suddenly it halted. Swara came down.
Sanskar stopped the car.
“What happened?” Sanskar asked Swara as soon as she spotted him.
“Breaks failed” Swara answered worriedly.
“What????” Sanskar yelped in confusion…. The car was not even moving…
“What what??? Can’t you see….. Tyre punctured….. Wait! Don’t tell me you were following me….” Swara p snapped at Sanskar.
“No… Sorry ms Swara Gadodia…. But I was going to drop my sister – in- law to her college but your car came in our way….” Sanskar shot back.
“What????” Swara asked in shock….”Sanskar maheshwari…. As in Sanskar Maheshwari is helping Ragini??” Swara added in same tone.
“Yeah…… I think….. Dadi did a mistake…. She should have asked me to marry Ragini and not you….. You know she is so better than you?” Sanskar asked with a smirk plastered on his face….
Of course Swara was hurt….. No girl well like the fact that her husband like her sister more than her….
“Yeah… Sure” Swara snapped arrogantly trying to show that she was least affected…. But again…. Sanskar was her best friend some years ago… He clearly understood her feelings…. And felt bad for her… He regretted saying that…
“Now come sit in my car…..” Sanskar ordered clutching Swara’s wrists….
“No need…..” Swara said with a hurt tone….”i have many others dying just to get me talk to them….”she added before calling Kartik…
“Hallo! Kartik…. Where are you???………….. Okay good…… I am int that road……….. Yeah…. My car’s Tyre got punctured and i don’t want any OUTSIDER helping me….. Oh yeah great!! Thanks!” Swara said before disconnecting the call.
Sanskar was stunned….. She called him an ‘outsider’?…… His heart ached but she didn’t even look at him….. She went back and sat on the rocks near one of the trees……
He turned back to leave just when he saw Kartik coming on his bike…….
He stopped his bike just in front of him.
“Hello Sanskar!” Kartik greeted with a dark smirk…
Sanskar didn’t respond and just glared…. Ragini looked at the three people in front of her…..
“Sanskar Kartik and Swara…… Now you see….. “Ragini mumbled as she slowly smirked at the idea she got.
Minutes later, Swara was sitting behind Kartik on his bike and Sanskar pulled Ragini inside the car making her sit….. He was boiling with anger……
He drove past the two souls sitting over the bike as Kartik tried starting it…..
A few minutes later…..
Sanskar’s point of view
“Listen Sanskar…… I know we are not even something close to friends but still i did a favor on you” Ragini chirped.
“Favor…. And on me? Are you serious?” I almost scowled at her making her shiver…
“Relax relax…. I know you married Swara but please don’t scowl like her….. You know… Swara will never reach her college with Kartik!!’ She exclaimed.
“And why is that so?” I asked dubiously.
“Because……. Ragini Gadodia….. Punctured his bike tires too….. And you’ll get Swara’s call anytime now…”Ragini beamed dreamily…..
I smiled inwardly…..
“No need to thank me…. If you really wanna do something……. Umm…… Can we be friends??” Ragini asked in a low tone…. I stopped the car and looked at her in shock…….
“Sorry” she said looking down…..
“Your college” i answered pointing outwards…..
She nodded and got down….
“Wait…” I ordered and got down too….
She turned and flashed her must fake smile…
“Of course we can be friends” i said with a smile and her fake smile immediately changed into a bright one…. She clutched her bag and bid bye to me…. I smiled again…..
I started driving back waiting impatiently for Swara to call….. But she didn’t…. So i drove faster to the point where i left the two……
And on reaching the spot…. I found only his bike…. Where was he??? Where did he take my Swara?? How is she??? Wait! What did ‘my’ mean in the sentence? Anyways!
All sorts of things happening to Swara came in my mind and i mentally cursed myself for leaving her with someone cheap like Kartik…. How could i just believe him??? Damn it Swara……. Where are you? My life??
