Shivaay immedietely rushes to the terrace. With all hopes to find Anika there.. he looked everywhere eagerly.
No sign of her.

“I lost her…, i lost my anika, Om” shivaay said with a trembling voice.  (He sensed Om’s presence behind him) “All beacuse of my stupid act” shivaay says and falls on his knees.

He starts to sob. And Om places his hand on Shivaay’s shoulder.

“She changed me, Om. She changed this heartless creature into a person with love and care. I betrayed her. (He bulges his eyes)

“She wont come back, she’ll hate me for this. I am bad person, Om” this is what could be concluded from his continuous cry talk.

“Atleast you realised your mistake. Dont worry we’ll find her soon” Om consoled him.

“Chandha!!! Shivaay shouts suddenly and gets up wiping his tears.

“Her friend. She must definitely be with her” he says and one could see him with a fine smile.

“You wait her in OM if suppose she returns back. Ill go to Chandha’s to look for her” he says so fast and runs down.

He reaches Chandha’s house. Knocks the door and chandha opens it.

She looks at him all annoyed.
“Anika…” shivaay stretches her name.

“Oh!..(giving him a disgusting look)  your friend?” She asks.

He drops his head down ashamed. But becomes alright by heart, because he now confirmed that she is here.

Stood there in guilt. And she signalled him to a room. He entered and saw Anika lying by the corner of a small bed facing the wall. He sighed in relief.

He heard her crying. He entered and sat near her. Sensing his presence Anika quickly wiped her tears but stayed in her position not facing him.

He gently stroke her hair. She squeezed tears out and spoke no word.

(Just like in Agar Tum Sath ho song)

“I know you have all the right to punish me now. Cause what i did is something what i shouldnt have done. I shall be given no mercy. But i really really regret whàt i did. I… i… i am sorry Anika. Extremely. I will accept any punishment you give me” he said in a soft voice.

There was a long pause.

“When you said you love me, i believed you. When you told me that your love for me will never change even if Ria comes alive the next minute, i believed you.When you said that not her resemblance but my heart made you fall for me i believed you.

But the moment you called me a….. (sobs) a friend.. you broke each and every belief” she says.

“Tell me what to do to rectify it” he asks.

“Leave me alone. I need time to get over it” she says.

Not having any other option he bends to get up.

Looks at her leg, the place where his phone had hit her. The skin was pink, he still could see her in pain.

He touched her ankle. She jerked and looked at his hand on her leg.

Gently Rubbing the spot with his thumb finger “Take care,ill be waiting for you” he says and gets up.

She pulls her leg inside the bedsheet.

He stops by the door, turns to her looks at her and moves out.

Rudra entered his room all sad. Sowmya came hopping in. He had promised to say something to her when he returns. So she was so excited and started nagging him.

“Rudra??” She called.
“Hmm..” he hummed.

“I came to your room back then.. remember?” She asked.
“Hmm..” he hummed again.

“You gave me Harry potter book remember?” She again asked.
“Hmm..” he growled now.

“After that… you told me something, remember?” She asked.
His anger increased.. cause she kept
nagging him..
“hmm” he hummed again in a higher note.

And what is that..? She asked.
(She was in her dreamland already. Imagining to start her day with Rudra in his Gym, working out. Drinking milkshakes together. Reading novels and acting it out together) she smiled to him asking about it.

He controlled his anger so much that he started biting his teeth.

What is that???? She kept asking.

“I hate you. That’s what i wanted to say to you, i hate you, i hate you, i hate you” he shouts.

Totally broken, sowmya gives a blank look and tears start to roll down her cheek. Ran to her room and wets her pillow with her tears.

“He knows i love him, and he came to know that i am trying to make him jealous. I really thought that he too thinks the same way..But now.. he clearly told me that he hates me… idiot!! Even i hate him..” she says and cries even louder.

Om comes to his room all sad. Gauri sees him sad and brings him a cup of water.
“Here you go.. you look sad. What happened ? She asked gently placing her hand on his shoulder.

He placed him arm or hers, “i dont know about why you asked me to make sure everything goes alright. But something seriously has gone wrong he says and narrates her what had happened”

She drops down. “I really didnt want this to happen. Anika already grew up in an orphanage. Now when she has just started to experience all happiness why does god guve her so much hurdles” she says and sobs.

“Dont worry Gauri, shivaay has gone to convince Anika. Im sure he’ll bring her back” he assures her and rubs her back.

Gauri tilts head head to Om’s shoulders and cries grabbing it.

Shivaay steps out of Chandha’s house. Just when he feels someone slipping their hand into his hand and gently grabbing his hand. He turned to Anika not looking into his face but her face faced the floor.

“You cant leave me here” she said in a soft voice.

His face turned happy and before he could speak..

“Im coming back only because im OM’s elder bahu. I dont wanna make pinky aunty feel. And im gonna be a FRIEND of yours till i feel you really love me. No one should know this.” She says.

He gets hurt when he heard her say Friend. He gently nods.

They both drive back home. The ride was silent for most of the time. Just like the rides before their marriage.

They reached OM. When anika got down shivaay held her hand.

“I did a mistake. I wanna rectify it. Just know this, I really love you. I know you wont believe me this time. But i will prove it. Prove it every single day” he says and pulls her closer.

Leans down and kisses her cheek.

They both now turn to see Dadi standing. They fear whether she had heard them speaking.
