“Dont over-react as if shivaay hasn’t done such. It’s getting late. I’ll leave now” ananya said and walked away.

Prinku was astonished. She was in a big dilemma. If she says the truth out, the grand wedding would be stopped, dad will lose his good business deal. But if she stops herself from the truth, brother’s life will be spoilt.

Prinku? Called shivaay.
Yes bhaiya.. she said as her voice stammered.
Are you alright? He asked.
Trying hard a smile she said yes.

Shivaay? Called anika.
Shivaay patted on prinku’s shoulder and signed her to leave.

Errr… i need your measurements for your wedding sherwani. Anika said.
Why so soon? He asked lowering his voice.
“im getting it grandly done. Printing ananya’s face in your sherwani” she said.

“Fhat the wuck? Her face on my dress? He said.

She giggles and pulls his arms up.
Anika Stands behind him and Lengthens the tape to his shoulders.
Now stands in front and puts the tape around his waist and pulls it. He stumbles and falls on her.

She breaths deeply. He rolls his eyes and pulls himself up. “Im.. im so.. “

Sorry?!?…. When you finally learn to say it out it’l be too late. She said followed by a small smile.

Her mind was totally on the wedding day. “Shivaay is gonna get married” this kept alarming her mind.
She binds the tape even harder.. it pulled him even closer. He was puzzled but said no word.

She binds it even more. She was almost resting her head on his chest. She could hear his heart beat. He noticed her closed eyes, gulping throat, nervous hands, and short breath.

Ahem ahemm…“if bhaiya wears such a tight sherwani.. he’ll definitely choke and die” ru said laughing.

Coming in senses, she saw herself tightening the tape so hard. She released it at once. “im so sorry” she said as she tucked her hair behind her ears and hastened away.

Shivaay kept looking at anika till she left his eye sight.
Ru enters gauri’s room. Saw her folding the clothes and arranging them.
Didi.. can i ask you something?? He asked.

“i have work to do ru…” can you wait? She asked.

Frowning his face, he sat on the corner of the bed.

Seeing him sad, she placed the cloth that she had in her hands and went near him. Gently combing his hair.. “tell me ru.. what is bothering you? She asked.

“you wont seperate om from me no..? He asked crying.
She was speechless.

Grabbing his cheeks…”he is your brother before he becomes my husband. And i promise you.. i will never Grab him away from you. You have all the rights on him. And what made you think that ill take him away? Idiot..” he said patting his head.

He smiled and asked “pinky promise?”
Arey… what’s this pinky promise? She laughed.
“anika didi taught me this. It is like.. you swear you will keep your promise under any situation”

Haha… ye anika nah… she says.. just when she remembers something. Gives a curious face. And smiles thinking “it wont be..”
Anika??? Anika??? Pinky calls out.
Yes pinky aunty? Anika replies.
Pinky gives her an eye.
Err… sorry. She says grabbing her ears.
“Maa… what is it? Do i have a work?” she asks.
Pinky smiles and says “yes anika.. the guy from the jewellery shop had called. He wants you to confirm the designs” she said.

“Yeah sure. Ask him to bring em” anika replied smiling.

“I have called ananya to confirm it too” pinky added.

Anika’s face frowned.
“you better not make it late anika, everything is moving so quick” pinky said as she pats her shoulder and moved away.

The guy from the jewellery shop comes home, shows them all the designs.

All the ladies are busy selecting the right piece for them.

Shivaay sees a good piece and shows it to ananya.
Anika finds a very beautiful piece and shows it to ananya. “madam? It will definitely look good on you” she says.

Huh? This? Such a cheap mind. Even my servent would afford this. I dont like it. I cant complain. How will a girl from the ditch like you choose.. She said casually. Shivaay your selection is good. She added.

Anika was broken. Everyone looked at her as she runs to gauri’s room crying.
“Show me that design” ananya said as if nothing had happened.

Anika cries in front of the mirror. Squeezing tears, she shuts her mouth so that no one hears her.
Bends down And assumes silence for sometime. She looks up and gets shocked.
Shivaay stands just behind her. They both share an indirect eyelock through their reflection.
Petrified for like 2minutes, then shivaay pulls the same necklace that anika found beautiful from his kurta pocket.
Her breath deepens. He gently grabs her loose hair and places them to the other side. Makes her wear the necklace.
“Beautiful” shivaay says in aww.
Anika turns back and saw him already looking at her.

“your selection is awesome. It really looks beautiful, but on your neck. I deliberately selected a yuck one. Let her wear that. THIS is just fantastic. You wear them.” He said grabbing her shoulders.

“but i cant afford for them” she said crying.
“what i am for then? He promptly said.
Anika stood dumbstruck.
“Err.. i mean.. im am your friend right? Accept this as my gift” he said handing her it.
“umm.. and richness is not by money. You have a wonderful soul and thats what matters, you are rich by heart, dont mind her.. i know she is irritating” he said winking.

“Fine. It’s late. Ill drop you” shivaay said.

“No problem. Champa is alright now. I too her to her doctor”

Her Doctor? Shivaay asked confused.

Areyy.. one who makes your body work better? Doctor?
“I took her to the bike doctor.. that long beard guy, sunil.. took 200 rupees for getting her cured” she sighed.

Oh.. mechanic?? He asked and laughed.
It was so different to see him laugh when she used weird words.

She smiled and walked away.
