Love is not just giving or receiving. It is a mutual respect between two. Independent yet dependent only to his love. When one is with their loved one, they should feel safe. “Ahh yes im with him. He’l take care of me” kind of. Love is experiencing happiness even in the presence of the other. You need not speak, just the presence will do. Sharing their pain, spending time together, eating together, counting the stars together, chatting together. Just being together.

And did you not notice pinky aunty’s face changing when you described love?
A mother’s love is the best shivaay. And you did not mention about sibling love. Ru and prinku frowned , did you not see that?
Business is important to build a building. But only love and care of the whole family makes you LIVE in one.

You have everything shivaay. A mom’s love, a dad’s guidance, brother’s affection, grandma’s blessings. I had nothing. Standing nearby.. anika laughed.

She’s “Ananya”. Anika whispered. And laughed again.

Okay fine we didn’t know each other’s name. Big deal. He gulped.

You are getting married shivaay. Are you even aware of it? Marriage is something that unites to souls and their respective families together. You dont even know her, how did you say yes ? She asked.

“they are worth 2000 crores anika” “do you get the value now?” he said.

“So you are not marrying her shivaay. You are buying her” anika yelled.

“Talk to her. Share your likes and dislikes. Let her know who you actually are. Ask hers. That’s how you develop love” she said.

Me? Im ananya.. i manage my dad’s business. I love being alone. I enjoy no togetherness. Once we marry, we shall take care our business together maybe. But i shall need my space. And im not so interested in children. We shall have family time every weekend. No more festival celebrations. Anything else ? She asked. He waved a No. She said she’s going home and left.

He could see only a machine in her. A heartless creature just like him. But something was missing. He loved family the most. But she hates family.
He suddenly remembered all that anika spoke. He felt how drastically different ananya and anika are.

He went straight to anika, “ananya and me are made for each other, anika” he said.
Before she could smile, “just the same heartless creature “ he added.
She could speak no more.

When is my marriage? Gauri came crying.
In a week dear, anika smiled. Make that tomorrow. it’s seems so long gauri said with a puppy face.
That means “Im getting married in a week too? Shivaay asked?”

Anika turned to him all terrified and nodded.

Later that evening, anika entered shivaay’s room with a knock at the door.
He smiled and asked her to come. He was sitting by the edge of the bed using his mobile.

She said she wanted to ask him something.

She went near and as usual her chameli did her job.

Anika tripped and fell on shivaay.
And It Was This Time…shivaay wasnt angry on her.
Her hair fell right in front covering her face and still disturbing him. He gently combed her hair behing her ears. And his other arm on her waist. Anika’s hands were on shivaay’s shoulders.

What’s the matter ? Shivaay whispered.
Champa isnt working. Can you drop me? She whispered back.
Even your chameli isnt working. And by the way you are already dropped he whispered again.
Realising her position on him, she stood all clumsy.
Can i drop you? Someone whispered from a distance.
Both turned to see rudra standing.

Not necessary. Ill drop her shivaay said.
Anika sat beside shivaay in the front seat.

On the way.. shivaay asked anika, if she was grown in an orphanage.. how come sahil is his brother ?

After a long pause.. sahil’s parents adopted me she said. They died after a year they adopted me. I stood on my own legs and earned for a living. I take care of him. I have promised him, i will bring back his legs. He loves playing on the streets with the other boys iof the streets. If and if only i earn like you, i could fulfil his wish. Tears rolled.

He gently laid his hand on her’s and consoled her.

They reached the house. They got down. She Thanked him and turned to go. He held her hand.
“Your presence gives me happiness, anika” he said in his husky voice.

She remembered pinky’s words ( will you marry our son to this kind of girl, shakthi? )

Releasing her hand from his’s she turned to him. Keep your mind steady. It is unstable. Now you are in a big confusion. I get it. Dont make any sudden step which maybe you’l regret later she said not mentioning what she was talking about.

He saw her walking away to her house.

He thought about ananya and anika at the same time.
What am i doing???? Why did anika come in between all of a sudden ? Said a part of his mind.
The other half of his mind said..
Marrying ananya will bring you far from your brothers and family. But you will succeed in business.
Anika respects others feelings..

He was totally in thoughts. He rode back home.
Saw Gma sitting on the sofa and reading newspaper. Rushed to her.. laid his head on her laps.
“what happened dear? She was so shocked to see shivaay taking her laps after so long years.

‘im confused dadi, he said.

“god will lead you to the right path dear.. dont you ever worry. God will definitely have the right choice for you. She smiled as she combed his hair with her hands.
