The waiter mockingly replies :”he has been coming to this coffee shop for the past 8 years of his life … And always sat at the same table and came at the same time… 6:45pm… He was usually accompained by–”
“That’s enough….thanks” said the girl and disappeared into the darkness outside…
Both into their monotonous melancholic life…
The night was quite restless for the girl… She had met many boys in her life..she liked many too… But she never felt such for any other guy..
She wanted to apologise for her rude manner…
Next day… She leaves early from work and picks
up a beautiful bouquet from the florist and pins in a message…
“Sorry for the rudeness at your favourite coffee cafe…
Dr. Sonakshi Bose?”
And drives her way to the coffee shop… She arrives a little earlier to 6:45pm
Walking up to his favourite table…. She sits down waiting… And staring at the clock…. She was expecting to see him that day….
She had had already taken 7 cups of coffee while waiting.. It was almost 15 minutes to 8…
He seemed puntual..she thought… And the waiters words that he was always here by 6:45 pm kept banging in her ears…. She felt a twitching pain in her heart…
She became restless and anxious…
Time went by… And everybody left the shop… As it was time to close down the shop…
She leaves sadly… Walking down the lonely streets… Shivering in the cold…
Coming back to her apartment… She calls her assistant informing her that she needs an emergency day off tomorrow..
Next morning… She keeps waiting since 7 am in the coffee shop …once again till the shop closes… At the same table… This continued as the days passed….she became more and more restless…. Almost 15 days she thought… Tears welled up her eyes… She felt guilty of shouting at him… And thought may be because of her he us not coming here…
The waiter walks up to her and says…
“Its been the first time that he dint come to the coffee shop for such a long time… Its also the first time that someone has been waiting for him with soo much patience and emotions… Normally it was slightly–”
Sonakshi rubs her eyes off asking “whats his name???”
The waiter smiles and says “Mr. Devrath Dixit..
Havent you heard of him???? the youngest business tycoon… Dixit group of industries CEO..–”
“Devrath Dixit…” Sonakshi repeated… And saying thanks…
She rushes out of the coffee shop… The waiter was left puzzled…
Sonakshi was travelling far away to her home…
But the only think that she thought was Devrath Dixit…. It was only to seee him that she waited extra 15 days in Delhi…
Upon reaching home… She was walking carefree happy and cheerfully humming on to the golden old song by Geeta Dutt “aye dil mujhe bata de”
And banged on the door…constantly…her father..Mr Bijoy Bose eho was reading newspaper…comes irritated to open the door… But his irritation turns into a happy surprise as he sees his daughter after almost a month….
He hugs her and brings her inside….
Sonakshi was smiling broadly… Her mother,Asha comes out of the kitchen and hugs her daughter pecking on her cheeks … And asks her to go and get fresh as she has prepared all her favourites…
Bijoy enquired why she was late… Was there any problem..
But Asha pushes Sona to her room… And tells her husband that she just came… You have a whole night…. Chat tht tym… Let her get fresh… Saying so she disappears back into the kitchen..
Later Asha is seen calling out “Sona… Come soon…” walking towards her room… She finds Sona staring in the mirror smiling… And lost…
She snaps out her fingers infront Sonas’ face … And asks her ” where are you so lost??? What have u been thinking??? Anything—”
Nothing much..All the memories of the campaign… Leave it… Lets eat… ”
The dinner was spent quite..
After dinner… All of them chatted happily having cups of coffee… Then saying good night, Sona disappears into her room…
Asha and Bijoy discuss about Sonas’ glowing cheerfully happy behaviour…. Though she was an already happy person… They sensed some change in the happiness… As though she was in love….
Sona sits wide awake in her bed…. She could not just sleep…. Mr. Devrath Dixit would not allow her to… She thought…
She opened her laptop… And loged into her facebook account… And typed “Devrath Dixit” in the facebook search bar…
Looks like facebook too wanted to keep her waiting.. Hence was loading slower than ever…
Sona could not wait to click onto the first and only profile facebook showed her…
As the profile picture loaded .. She sat lost in to the ever so handsome…. Devrath Dixit…
She accused him to b a thief … After all he stole her heart…
PRECAP: on the breakfast table…,
Bijoy reads out loud a newspaper advertisement about search for a nutritionist to help in launching the new health product by Dixit group of industries…sona comes running asking”what group of industries??” with her eyes bulged out in surprise… Both Asha and Bejoy stared at her in surprise…
