Cooler scene in Mahabharat?? Mukesh Khanna REACTS!!

Mahabharat has been one of the most watched shows on Indian telly as of now. The entire country is hooked on to their TV screens to watch the epic mythological drama and well, in it’s re-run there’s one interesting catch which caught the eye of the fans.

Recently fans spotted an air-cooler in one of the episodes from the show and began tweeting about the same. There came an array of memes but a few fans also pointed out that it is not an air-cooler but the design of the pillar is such that it appears as a cooler.

Reacting to the same, Mukesh Khanna, who essayed the role of Bhishma Pitamah in the show reveals that he doubts if this is an actual still from the show. He also mentioned that he doesn’t think that such a mistake would have happened from BR Chopra’s side.

Talking about the same, he spoke to the Times of India and said, “I had been hearing about a picture of mine from the sets of Mahabharat going viral where I am shown sitting in front of a cooler, for the past few days. I want to know yeh picture aayi kahan se and secondly yeh kisne spot kiya?”

He added, “I doubt if this picture is from a still from the show. And if it is, it is a huge mistake. But from what I can say after seeing it is that it appears to be clicked in between shots. I don’t think such a glaring mistake would have happened from BR Chopra’s side. He was too careful with the making and the editing of Mahabharat.”

However, he also admitted that he did use air-cooler on the sets. He mentioned that they were shooting in Film City which was fully air-conditioned and since he had heavy costumes and a long beard, he used to feel extremely hot. He requested BR Chopra Ji to allow him use an air-cooler. He mentioned that the beard used to irritate him and made him sweat a lot and he also rejected almost 15 films because his character was supposed to have a beard.

Interesting trivia, don’t you think?
