A COMMON LOVE STORY –XIII

We were sitting quietly on the table with a variety of looks, as if some expression competition was going on I had, a confused look and he had a worried, worried look my sister had an eager look as if she was expecting something…….
Both the mothers were calm and my father had a different expression on his face , as he was trying to hide his real feelings and his father well he looked like he was meditating there in that type of serious condition………
My sister got a message on her mobile phone and as she read it her expressions just flip flopped, she looked a bit happier now …
She went to mummy and whispered something in her ear, mumma looked at her and signed a no gesture,
Seeing this his meditating father , got out of his deep thought process and spoke to us and asked the matter from my sister, she shyly looked at him and avoided the eye contact, and then looked at mumma, she looked a bit tensed now.

He came to her and said “Don’t worry and speak up” she looked at mumma again ………
She hesitated a little and asked for a minute went to dad and they had a short discussion for about a minute and finally my dad moved…..
He had been a statue all the time as if someone had frozen him…..
His dad spoke again and asked, whether something serious ……..
Dad now spoke up and said sir she wants to leave as her friends…….. But we are here for…. So she should stay here………
Cleared his throat and was just about to speak more , just then his father smiled and asked dad to drink/have water……..
This was the first time I saw daddy like that he was….. He was stammering and nervous…….unable to speak anything……and……………..

His father smiled again and said if she wants to leave then let her……..
He was just on the verge of completion of his sentence just then ………
To everyone’s surprise my sister jumped with happiness and shouted YES……..
She kept on repeating this word with an addition of thank you to it, till her phone rang ….

Dad asked her to complete her snacks first and, she drank her coffee hastily spilling most of it and just, swallowed her sandwich…..
We looked at her with wide eyes open……
She forgot all her manners then and also forgot that she was behaving wild/savage in front of outsiders.
After a while she realized her mistake and blushed and put/kept her head low and left……..
Unknowingly she just made the environment light and took away all our worries…….but gave an angry/annoyed look on my father’s face ……..
SIGH………..
Well just then out of nowhere a small child had dropped his shake on my mother’s dress…….
Both the mothers left for the washroom for the cleanup……
And both the fathers got busy in their talks and went on the resort walk ……
This was the time we got our first moment alone , at first we both hesitated a little but then just start speaking together ………

And silence……………..
Then I gather up some courage and spoke……….
I enquired about his health……….
And silence again…….
Where to start from?
I had so many questions in my mind that I was confused ……….
None of us spoke for a while…….
I drank some of my remaining coffee… …….
SLURP………..
The coffee was finished but I was sucking the air from the empty cup………
Ok done ……………
Now someone has to break this silence,
Someone have to just use her full willpower to do that before the other’s come back,
So u made the first attempt and asked him where was he going?
What do you mean? He said,
I was surprised by his reaction……….
I was a bit confused and murmured to myself…..did I hear wrong, is he……….
I then took a long breadth and said “I heard your mother, I mean when I no-no you no I mean we …..
Yeah we were on am…….. Talking on the phone… she ah……..
And silence again……..
I gathered more courage and spoke again, and in one breath without a break and with a great force and speed spoke it all ………

“Yesterday when we were talking on the pheone (phone) your packing mother asked you to, so where are you ging (going)…?”
Though very fast, badly arranged sentence with most of its words wrongly pronounced I spoke , I spoke it all and thankfully he understood it and I didn’t have to repeat what I said………..
Normally he used to smile on my these small/silly mistakes but this time his head bowed down and his eyes, lost all their luster and were low ,for the first time I have seen him like this……..
I was worried and asked him the matter……….
And got a shock a big shock…………
He said his parents were sending him to abroad for further studies………
I was shell shocked and my eyes became wet….
(Mean filled with tears or I became teary eyed)
My vision was blurred and in a stammering voice I said A-A-Abroad ………..
And he spoke again and I just heard a few words of what he spoke………
All I heard was…………
We here ……..just……………angry yur (your) father……….worried we….. Do anything in anger ….. So decide …..Meet……………….
I was just about to breakdown just then our parents reentered the scene and this time with a no with two additions……………….
