The 58-year-old comedian Raju Srivastava who was recently admitted in AIIMS Delhi after suffering a heart attack has remained unconscious for 14 days. For the unversed, Raju started experiencing chest pain post his workout and passed out. He was then rushed to the hospital where he underwent angioplasty.
Now according to the latest updates, Raju has gained consciousness. Ajit Saxena, during a recent interview, shared that Raju tried communicating with his wife Shikha Srivastava after gaining consciousness. He also added that Raju’s health is “steadily improving” and he is now putting more efforts to recover quickly.
For now, Raju is only being visited by his wife at the hospital due to the possibility of infection.
Earlier there were rumors about his deteriorating health. Raju’s wife responded and asked the fans not to believe the rumors. She shared, “My sincere request is kindly do not spread rumours. It affects our morale. We do not want negative energy, we need positivity. Please pray for his speedy recovery and he will be back soon. Doctors are giving their best and Raju ji is supporting them, He is fighting. So, kindly do not spread negativity.”
