Tv show Choti Sardarni is all set to surprise the fans with a 20-year leap. The cost of the leap came with the end of the character of Sarab aka actor Avinesh Rekhi. Being the lead pair, Sarab and Meher are perhaps the most loved characters on the show.
July 24 was the last day of shooting for Avinesh on the sets. As the actor makes way for the story to move ahead, he bids an emotional farewell to the cast and crew of the show.
Avinesh shared a video of him saying goodbye to the team on his social media account. Avinesh captioned the post as, “good bye CS thank you team Cs , will miss you and love you all.”

Avinesh’s fans commented on the post and expressed their sadness to see him leave and that they will miss him in the show.
For the unversed, Choti Sardarni’s leap is about to bring a new aspect to show where the story will focus on Sarab and Meher’s daughter, Seher’s life. As a result of the leap along with Sarab the role that will see an end will be Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia aka Meher. But the good news for Meher’s fan is that now Nimrit will be seen essaying the role of Seher. Actors Mahir Pandhi and Varun Toorkey will join the cast of the show to essay the role of Rajveer and Kunal respectively.

The now grown up Seher not only looks and speaks exactly like Meher, the problem is SHE IS Meher.
CS is therefore now all about Nimrit, Nimrit and also Nimrit.
All other actors are there just to give a helping hand.
True @AJ..the dialogue of new people seemed baseless to me and it’s a baseless one.the show will some times pop in mehrab’s memories to attract the viewers but weren’t fool anymore..Many have left on 24th and few will leave very soon which will mark the death of show..Then watch Nimrit’s true tears coz it is as fake as never before that happened two days ago..Apart from this I wish good luck to Avinesh Rekhi..he will be unmatchable..Just by wearing a turban you can’t gather love but by giving respect to it will gather you that which Avinesh Rekhi has received and he was a true bliss and charm of this show..CS would bever be the same without Avi..💔

I wish for this new leap to fail and fail fast. There is no way with Nimrith’s one dimensional acting that the show will reach any success. Apart from leaving her fellow colleagues for political reasons, It seems as though what she wanted is to stop playing a mom of 3 and a wife of a politician with so much responsibility and instead be a complete airhead that gets to play Barbie on her self-absorbed show with a bunch of male models. The leap does not sound like it has any substance. Instead, they are trying to hook the audience by introducing yet another typical love triangle in a trashy (what they are calling ‘modern’) way. Not sure what kind of audience colors tv attracts, but I’m guessing it’s an older one, so I’m not sure how well this new leap will resonate with them or whether it will attract a younger demographic. I’m also willing to bet that their interpretation of what life in Canada is will be completely off. I will not be supporting the new leap on moral grounds, but I look forward to reading about the nonsense politics surrounding this whole catastrophe and the drop in ratings. It would be wonderful to wake up one day and learn that the show has been taken off air.
Please if you don’t like it then don’t watch it nobody forced you to watch but why are you people blaming nimrit for everything, Maybe some of you don’t like the leap but some of us will still watch the show even after the leap who cares if nimrit will play the role of her daughter.
@awi: because we are entitle to be angry and upset about the show. It is our right to not support the actors and the PH writers, but that does not forbid us to comment on the WU get used to it. Just because we are not interested in watching what they do now,does not mean we can’t express our frustration. We were watching it for the last 2 years. We invested our precious time in a show and we got big slap in the return. But you don’t have to read or like what we have to say dear awiji.
We will miss Sarab immensely. He was the soul of the show. Even in the absence of Meher the show was hit bcoz of him.

how could they do that!!! why not just show the couple happy for a while! as a couple they only had around 3 happy years together!!! it makes me so angry! why not just let them enjoy being a family and just end the show on a happy ending! or if they really wanted a leap then show the characters after 20 years and they have gone abroad for a while so the leap could have still happened! why kill them. its made me not want to watch the show. its really sad to think just when all their happiness had finally come their way they get killed off! The poor children, they never got a mother and fathers love together. The both as a couple were amazing and no one can match it especially sarbjit, he was the show.
I have lost interest in the show and dont watch it anymore nor read updates. Fail to understand why they could not carry on with current track. Could have shown 2 boys drifting apart and how meher and sarab bring family back together. Why must a serial be dragged on and on. Why cant it end. Then if writers wanted to continue could have done a spin off with the children now residing elsewhere and focus on them as grown ups. Really no need for all the melodrama by killing off lead actors. I feel writers lack imagination in doing spin off series

Agreed @qer whatever the makers are doing is just simply rubbish and i would request everyone to just check out german_chotisarrdaarni_fans page on Instagram..this german lady posts perfect review about the show and she herself is against the leap..do check out her review.. absolutely perfect in every sense!!
And @qer i will sorry for the actors playing param and karan..i think later also in the story line they wouldn’t have their own identity or a story they would also be ignored..may at some point even the male leads..i think this isn’t a show anymore..it just nimrit as seher being showcased with different style mon-fri at 7:30 pm only in colors😂😂😂
