The Accident That Changed It All I
It’s dark and windy and under a slowly fading moon night the women runs. She’s running turning back every few seconds, cautiously checking behind her for any figure that follows. She works her way into the woods hoping to find a road that may lead to some safe house. She’s been running for sometime now, she’s tired, thorns have bruised her feet and as she frantically searches for any sign of other people she hears footsteps approaching her. She hides behind a big tree and finds the steps coming closer. She steps on a small branch breaking it, the noise turning the figures attention towards her. She panics and runs! She runs and after clearing a small portion of dense bushes finds herself at the edge of a steep cliff. With nowhere to go she turns around and finds the figure standing behind her. She freezes in her steps. The figure slowly makes his way towards her. Nervously she walks back as the figure begins walking towards her. With every step the figure takes towards her, she takes a step back unaware of her growing closeness to the end of the cliff. With the last step she takes she steps on a rock, losing her balance and her arms flailing she falls off the cliff and….
“MEHERJI”!!!!!!!!! Sarab wakes with an abrupt start screaming his wife name! His breathing heavy and with sweat beads on his forehead he looks around. It’s no-one he thinks. “Meherji. O god, this is the fourth time I saw a dream like this. In every dream I see Meherji in some accident or some dangerous scenario, please don’t make any of these nightmares come true and protect my wife, wherever she is” Sarab closed his eyes and prayed to God as his breathing slowly normalized. His Meherji had been missing for over a month now and while everyone thought she was dead, he knew that the body they found at that village was not his wife. He just knew, there was something in his heart that told him his Meherji was alive. When Sarab tried explaining this to others he knew they considered him mad but he had no way to show them what he felt. He loved his wife, his Meherji more than he could explain in words, she was his life, his happiness, she was a part of his soul, a part of him. He knew that if anything happened to her he would not be able to live. He just couldn’t explain to others that he was living proof that his wife was alive, because if anything had happened to his Meherji he would also be dead. His heart beat for Meherji, every breath he took was for her so how could he be alive and living if anything happened to her. Sarab had decided that it was useless trying to explain his feelings to others, the only other person who seemed to have a slight understanding of his feelings was Kulwant, his mother-in-law. She was the only other person who had hopes of Meherji returning. Sarab, Kulwant and his three kids desperately waited for Meherji to come back.
Sarab got up and walked to the bathroom. He turned on the cold water and let it run before he washed his face. He opened his eyes, his face dripping with water when he saw all of Meher’s items on the bathroom vanity, her face wash, her toothbrush, her moisturizer, her body spray everything was in its spot. Her dupatta still hung on the adjacent towel hanger, Sarab wiped his face and held Meherji’s dupatta, he breathed in her scent and closed his eyes as he remembered their moments together. Sarab had very clearly told every servant in the house to dare not step into his room. He wanted to keep all of Meher’s things exactly how she left it, even her pair of slippers she forgot in the walk in closet which she normally kept in the bathroom. Sarab didnt want to change a thing in the house about Meher. He couldn’t stop the servants and family members from moving things around the house especially because his three kids aren’t aware about their mother. All Sarab told them was that Meher was at a friends house helping them. He didnt want to scare them by yelling at the servants and being adamant about anything. But in their room, Sarab would not change a thing, he won’t let anyone change anything until Meher came back herself. Sarab put back Meher’s dupatta and wiped the tears from his eyes.

Was away for quite a while. Had a savere stomach infection, was admitted to the hospital. Came home just yesterday. Stomach pain is much better than before, though I still have it at times.

Hi everyone I am Ayenabeba originally from Ethiopia but currently live in Switzerland. Growing up I had friends from India who were born and grew up where I was born. We used to watch all kind of Indian films and enjoyed the great songs and dance with.
Hello Abhimanyu and everyone. The ‘A’ in my name is Arvinder, and you might deduce from the name that I am of Punjabi ancestry. Interestingly, and surprisingly, it look’s like I am the only Punjabi here! I live and work in London. My interest in CS started in March/April last year when the lockdown started and that period also coincided with the lockdown in India which resulted in the earlier episodes being shown. Part of my interest was because of the Punjabi background of CS. These are the factors that I consider make an ITV serial great: A good story, a great leading pair, entertaining and great supporting cast, feuding and rival families and more often than not, a taboo/ controversial theme in the show. All these factors will keep audiences glued to the serial, day in day out. Original CS ticked all the boxes. I also came to know of Punjabi functions I was previously unaware of, as I did not grow up in India. The serial appeals to all Indians, not just Punjabi’s, wherever they are. Post leap, barely any boxes are ticked, unsurprisingly. Interestingly, another current serial that in my opinion ticks all the boxes is Udaariyaan, hence, not a surprise at all to me that it is doing very well in the ratings (and at the same time, the post leap CS is struggling).

But even if Sarab/ Avinesh comes back, what does he come back as? Surely not as a potential suitor to ‘Seher’. Theoretically possible though – Seher grows up looking exactly like her ‘mother’ Meher and than meet’s someone who look’s exactly like her ‘father Sarab. If there is any truth in this, they would have tempted Avi back with massive amount of money. An admission that things as they are have gone very wrong?

Guys there is no MV collaboration between Avinesh sir and Nimert! Seems like she herself dismantled as fake news. But avinesh rekhi new project!! To be honest I am relieved to hear that, because she does not deserve to show up with him in any kind of project with him. Very soon he will be on our TV screen 😁😁😁 extremely delighted for him.

@MD – there is indeed such a thing as ‘too much Nimrit’. This same Nimrit occupies 90% of the scenes, she is the only one everybody marries, she is the only one who gets all the boyfriends. As if that is not enough, she was also her own mother last time round and every picture on the wall is Nimrit’s, just to make sure she does not get bored. And of course everybody obeys her every command. Anybody want even more of her?

Had the ultrasound done on Monday. I will have to go for a check up on Tuesday i.e. 17th August during which my doctor will be examining my stomach probably for one final time. He will then be declaring the results of my ultrasound.
Hopefully, they are positive as in favourable. Have had enough of this infection, it hurts tremendously.

Radhika I find it. Thank you very much . He says that story line is not going as the way they promised to him. Actually it is the truth. I feel like his smille is filed with sadness. Did you notice it Radhika ? I mean when he is in happy moods , his smile is very bright. I checked Nimrith’s feed. She didn’t wish him. Makers and Nimrith both are in some level due to his hard work.Because without Nimrith he did great job to hook the audience . I can’t understand why people are so selfish and so cheap. Actually I am very grateful to Avinesh sir because he has understood that fans are very unfortunate because they lost meharab .

Hey @Radhika just got a latest buzz..Acc to fans Mr.Pandhi was using that new feature of insta with Nim just to inc his followers on instagram🤦🏻♀️..and when he hit 60k he’s boasting about it..and the best part is that fans have sent some gifts for avinesh and nimrit and the one which nimrit received,mr.pandhi is having a complete share of it,i repeat complete..Two reasons prevail:-
1) Either Nimrit gave all the cupcakes she received as a fan gift to him as she is no more interested in it..
2)The ml claiming is own right in those gifts received..

Avinesh has received the gifts arranged by fans and the fams are not angry for the purpose that he ate it..They just want to convey that it should be nimrit the one who should react to the gift and not him which doesn’t even belong to him..And its true that the fans in anger did cross the limit..it was too much but i think the person deserves(🤭🤭 my thought)..coz i hate that man.

That interview by Avinesh on tellymasala was quite revealing. He was very gracious in accepting that serial stories do come to an end and at the same time, clearly disappointed that it did not go the way the makers had promised him. He also ‘praised’ Nimrit’s acting, diplomatically. Look’s like he is awaiting under opportunity on Colors TV, hopefully in the very near future.

@Cs: Avinesh himself said in a recent interview that the storyline the makers gave him was different. This implies that the makers, with possibly somebody’s collaboration, changed to storyline to the post leap we see now. That ‘somebody’ is widely suspected to be Nimrit. After all, the makers would have to be assured of Seher’s role and Nimrit may very well have given them that assurance. Sadly.
It means before start shooting makers gave some rough idea of character to the actor.

I think I can guess the general direction of the current post leap CS: ‘Seher’ will get married first to someone, then there is a very long line of male actors – Param, Karan, Yuvi and than we have ‘Sehers’ “leftovers”, and there are one or two at the last count. If CS carries on, the only storyline is marrying off all these countless young men, one after another. In short, there is absolutely no storyline the makers have. Unsurprisingly, it is apparent from the daily site and Ig that a high percentage of previous viewers no longer watch the show. Snowflake look’s like carrying the flag alone (on her very young shoulders). She makes a comment, answers it herself, makes another comment, and it goes on like that. Yesterday for example, there were 24 comments – impressive until you find out that Snowflake made 15 of them!

But Ekta serials are normally full of twisted story that one day would be to much of drama, that way I would not be invested in this like I was with CS. I don’t understand that why many shows not only CS but i haven’t Heard of anyone yet..They shot the ring ceremony of sehraj with the song ranjha from Shershaah..i mean to say that the song is a tribute to the love of Shaheed Captain Vikram Sir and Dimple Mam, it’s so pious and natural..why it has to be used on a new formed couple which is not even loved..for mehrab i can understand..they love was also unsung..but atleast this song shouldn’t have been played on such a couple..The song defines the true meaning of love..Just my thoughts!!

The fact that cs dropped in the uk rating and that Mehrab’s anniversary took over social media just says all 🥳🥳 Nimrith is clearly having a knee jerk reaction to all of this, hence the promotion once again. It’s only a matter of time friends…the demise and hopefully cancellation of the show is upon us! Only then will I feel that we will all get justice! Internationally ppl gave a chance to the leap for an entire week but they were done later..How long will they see the show which has now lost all its authenticity..And as you said it just a matter of time and patient for us loyal fans..The result will surely be a sweet one😉
Outside of India, Canada has the most Punjabi’s but the UK is a clear second. The original CS was widely watched not just because of one or two key actors, but because it had a distinct Punjabi flavour and was very entertaining. Both the Dhillon and Gill families had great actors. Of course Sarab was excellent, but it was the supporting cast as well that made people watch the show. Apart from Punjabi’s, there is a significant South Asian community in the UK and the show appealed to them too. Religion had nothing to do with it, just the entertainment. Nimrit is currently ‘promoting’ CS on her Ig with her latest bridal wear – but no amount of bridal wear’s and new marriages for that matter alone will appeal to potential viewers. People want entertainment, and in that Nimrit is rather clueless.

If you mean in terms of offscreen pictures then really it doesn’t matter…if they are not comfortable for whatever reasons then they need not pretend and post pictures and especially with nimrit its better every decent man maintains a diatance!!! Secondly if in terms of onscreen romance then also I dont think sehraj fans are lucky because the beauty of the romance doesnt come from two people kissing however intensely.. it comes from the story and the way its enacted.. the forehead kiss what sarab always placed on mehers forehead would anyday beat any intense romance on any show.. the mehrab hug would melt anyones hearts… mehrab is an emotion for us because of a reason.. their relationship progressed from the point where they hesitated to touch each other to a point that they could feel each other even without touching.. from being forced to stay together due to circumstances to being not able to stay away from each other.. So Mehrabs romance was pure gold.. and nothing can ever match with it.. forget sehraj not even anyother couple from any other show can match mehrab anytime neither in the past and I dont think in the future too

(b) “This is all my mother’s fault, could she not have done her homework properly and told me this girl had a dodgy past “(c) “Who cares, I have slept with many girls before too” (d) “I am going to divorce her tomorrow morning” (e) “I am going to jump into the river, I can’t stand this humiliation” ( f) The guy breaks everything in the bedroom in anger g) “Let us keep this secret between ourselves and tell everyone we were in a secret relationship for the past 6 months and in any case, the kid will probably look like me and no one will be any wiser. If Nimrith needs to have off screen romance with her costar to convince viewers of their chemistry on-screen, this is just further proof of her unprofessional sim, lack of morals, shortcomings as an actress and failing at her craft. The only person I feel bad for is the woman that got hurt as a result of Nimrith and her co-star’s disrespectful actions.

Don’t know what’s exactly happening to itv..they don’t have good stories promised to actors!Fine!! End it in a beautiful manner..But no they would go for a generation leap!!.. Just like CS,YRKKH.. Also going for a gen keep in which the fl has been roped to play her own daughter, ml was offered an old character.. He refused and would be exiting the show mid sept.. And new leads to be roped in but before that the couple would have a lavish marriage in the show… Exactly dot to dot case as that of CS.. But a little difference..in our leap the ml was given a screen space of just 2 years but yrkkh gave mohsin 5 years.. In our leap, along with producers.. Directors and the fl had a part in the leap but in their case it’s just the producers..I still can’t understand that why they run only for trp!!Fine you need money.. But prosperity comes with happiness too..Fans aren’t happy..they wanted both the couple’s in both the show to quit together but no that’s not gonna happen..and why producers are showing such biased behaviour towards the male category only and just uplifting the woman one..Though i am a girl.. But this is absolutely wrong.. it’s complete partiality..God knows for whatever reasons.. It’s bringing out wrong messages and later would be looked down upon.. But that is what it is..☹️☹️
I can’t find any advantage of cs leap to the makers . Their trp is not high. Fans are very unhappy and they still demand Avinesh. Don’t understand these things exactly . But clearly understand one thing leap is not successful. YRKKH leap is just acceptable as it is 5 year long show. But cs. Within one year two leaps.
@pixelss According to etimes report Mohsin khan wanna quit because he want to try movies and webseries etc.. well yrkkh may go on for another decade and he is wise enough if he wants to try something else…. or else all his life he would have only done yrkkh… the PH decided for getting new leads because audience will not accept a new kartik… and shivangi is not quitting… So they came up with the option of generation leap.. the PH is still planning how to go about the leap.. this is what I read in etimes

Have you all read Geetika’s interview on tellychakkar!!..She said that leap was bound to happen as during the lockdown in Delhi they were shooting separate scenes irrespective of the planned storyline..Means the leap was decided exactly just after nimrit left😳😳..and she said she is happy for nimrit as she too wanted to have young ppl around her and get those college vibes in a show which carries ethical meaning from its title itself😳.. Moreover i think they gave nimrit a college girl role so that she doesn’t get typecast as a mother again!!..But unfortunately the story is just same as the previous one.. nothing new except faces, hairstyles and clothes..No sense, nothing!!..

@MD..the problem is that tge other shows of colors have worser trp than CS dont know the reason though.. So channel has to offair those shows before CS.. as of now.. by sept end all shows except CS SSK2 and Udaariyan are informed that they will be going offair if the trp doesnt rise to 2.0+and after that CS apparently has deadline in October … and if molkki or barrister babu increases more than 2.0 then also CS can go offair in late sept or mid oct.. Channel giving ultimatum depends on the upcoming shows lined up.. dont worry there are a lot of shows coming up on Colors before the end of this year.. So CS will go offair soon and surely before new year I think

Survival of the fittest doesn’t just apply to the animal world, it applies to ITV serials too. CS might survive to end of Sept, limping and screaming, with Nimrit doing the screaming and her new hubby and the reject doing the limping. I can’t even tell which one is the hubby and which one the reject, as they are both inter changeable.
