HArleen ties Param’s turban. Everyone is smiling. Harleen kisses him. Param prostrates. Sarab wipes his tears. Param says now baby’s first Lohri. Everyone congratulations Sarab and Param. Param asks everyone for Lohri. Harleen’s MIL says we don’t ask for Lohri. Ginny says who taught you that? He says Meher mama. Yuvi misbehaves with everyone asking for Lohri. Jagga apologizes. Bitu says this is how kids are when parents don’t say anything. Jagga says shut up.
Everyone is dancing and celebrating Lohri. Sarab says this is my wife’s first Lohri. I want to make it memorable. Meher and Sarab pray together. They dance around the fire. Meher sees Jagga angry. Meher says what happened? He says nothing. Meher sees Bitu and Jagga staring at each other. Sarab says I want to thank Meher for being a part of my life. She has given me another beautiful baby. I want to thank her. I hope God bless us all. Kulwant says I also want to thank Harleen. Because of her Meher and Sarab are together. Everyone claps. Harleen is angry.
Sarab gives gifts to everyone. Sarab says this is the gift for Meher. It’s an anklet. She is a boss to me and Param. Whenever we are watching our favorite cartoon show, Meher suddenly stands behind us and twists our ears. So this anklet would be an alarm. Sarab bows down and makes Meher wear it. The song Dholna plays. Meher smiles. Ginny says now Meher’s turn. Dolly says she is right. Let’s see what would she give you that you already don’t have. Meher says there’s one thing that’s priceless. It’s a promise. I promise you, I will always be with you. In health and in sickness. For your one smile, I will fight the whole world. I promise your love and your trust will be more than my life to me. Sarab says I want another promise. Your support, not for this life but for all the lives. He extends his hand. He says promise me Meher. Meher is shocked. Meher holds his hand.
Rana and Bitu dance. They pull Sarab too. Meher dances as well. Women dance against men. Param joins the men as well. Everyone dances.
Meher comes out. Param is in the restroom. He says let’s go Meher mama. Meher says go wash your hands first. He washes his hands. Meher says I told you always wash your hands. Param says I forgot to flush as well. Yuvi is waiting for me. Meher says I will do it for you but from tomorrow you have to do it on your own. Meher sees blood in the toilet. She is shocked.
Precap-Meher looks for Param in the function. Meher comes to Sarab and says I have to tell you something important.
