Scene 1

An employee comes to Sarab and says my daughter is very sick and I don’t have money for her treatment. Sarab says to Tarkash make sure his daughter is treated in the best hospital.
The doctor says to Meher, will you get injection too? Meher says no no I am very scared. Param says you taught me when you’re scared to take the name of God. They both pray. The nurse takes Param’s blood but he bravely gives it. Meher smiles. The nurse says done. Meher says are you okay Param? He says yes mama. Param says see when we remember God, it doesn’t hurt at all. Param says Meher mama come fly kite with me. I don’t know how to do it. Meher says try it on your own first. He says I don’t know how to do it. Rovi says Param let me show you the trick on the internet. Param flies his kite but Rovi falls. Param laughs. Dolly says let me teach you. The kite tears. Ginny says Harleen can do it. Harleen says this isn’t my class. These are low-class things.
Meher calls the doctor and says can I get the reports before 5? He says no. Ginny says Meher will tell Param how to do it. Meher says it’s an art. You fly it in the direction of the air. Ginny says we have to leave now. Harleen hugs her.
