THE CHOICE- CHAPTER 7

Hello ppl..i m a bit bfr my scheduled date..but i know its fine wid u ppl..so y m i here…i hve to tell u soke things…this part of my story would be ending in 2-3 chps…after which i m going to take… A short break…u know..exams..then fun after exams…so its gonna take a while..but after that..i will be back wid part 2 of my story…so now enough of my blabbering…thank you all d ppl for ur lovely comments..i m touched…hope to c ur comment on this part too..so here comes…CHAPTER-7

suman and shravan r at their favourite place… shravan has started liking it.. when it became a place to be wid suman…. after that incident wid adi… they have started talking more…
” you know shravan… i trusted adi so much.. even now.. i do..” suman says softly…d soft evening breeze hits her face… she trusts adi…but she has started trusting shravan more… wid everything… her pain…her secrets..her dreams..its like he knows her better than anyone else …but she always feels that she doesn’t know him.. they barely talk abt him…of course they do..but not so deeply…he doesn’t share much abt him…its like..he has built an invisible wall btwn her nd his inner self… they r very different..that is d excuse shravan gives when suman tells him that he doesn’t share anything wid her….he says he trusts her.. but he doesn’t show that… if a man cannot trust a woman wid his secrets…his pain.. then wat can he trust her wid… how hard she tries.. but he doesn’t really open up….
” is he worth it?” shravan says… interrupting suman in her thoughts… shravan really wanted to hear d answer from her.. after wat adi said about her that day.. any girl would have had that self respect to go and slap on his face..nd say ” even i don’t give a damn about u” …if not this then at least….talked badly about him behind his back…. but suman.. she didn’t do any of this… she talks highly of adi even now… now she gave me d answer…its not about self respect every single time…at times u just have to trust someone from ur heart….nd she told me just now that she trusts him…..but does he deserve that trust….?

” you cannot judge someone on d basis of one or two incidences…i have known adi for a long time….nd i know he is not a bad person….” suman says looking at shravan..directly into his eyes… she is also trying to find some answers.. which she is unable to find…everytime
shravan doesn’t reply…. he just lies back..head on his hand… nd looks at d sky…
” did u try talking to him? ” shravan says looking at d sky..
” yes i did…but he didn’t want to talk…so…” suman shrugs….
” this is d problem wid her…she can forgive anyone for anything… just for that one relation she wants to save…. any one comes nd hurts her so easily…nd still she goes behind that person… without any hesitation…or so what people so call it self respect…just becoz she trusts that person….but that’s another striking feature of her’s.. she cares about relations….she knows their importance…nd she knows that at times…they matter..more than anything else…” shravan thinks….
he likes suman…he does..she is his crush from a long back… she had something striking in her..something unknown…in fact..he has started loving her… he cares for her..nd there’s nothing to hide about it…even suman knows that he is hurt to see her pained…that he enjoys her company…
” hey shravan… we r talking abt too much sadness.. u tell…found any girlfriend for urself? suman says suddenly…trying to sound as if she is teasing him…but d fact is…she wants to know at least something important about him….something that really matters to him…
” no girlfriend.. but i have a crush…my only crush in this whole college” shravan says still looking up..for now..liking is fine… he is telling her…” oh god.. how will she react…will she break their friendship?…but someday or d other..she will know about it..after all..feelings cannot be hidden for too long….so y not tell her….” he thinks..
suman looks excited…she is smiling…nd looking at d lake….but from inside..she has different feeling..an unknown fear fills her….
” who is d girl..shravan? ” she asks still looking at d still water….
” its u…” shravan says…trying to sound casual…

meanwhile…suman freezes…d world stops for her….. she doesn’t know…if he is telling d truth..if he is…what should she feel….but right now…she sits blank…staring at d lake….
“i like u…i really like u…nd i m not afraid to confess it..” shravan says..now sitting up…he so much wanted to replace that like wid love…but right now..d truth is ..he is dying from inside…what will be her answer..he is ready..even for a slap…
meanwhile suman finally…takes in what’s happening…nd is kinda shocked at this revelation….now she feels like laughing..she really thinks that this is a joke…shravan is just playing around wid her…she knows that shravan cares for her…nd even she does..but she didn’t expect that he will confess that he had any kind of feelings for her..but he told like….not love….she cannot loose a friend like him…anyway its just a liking.. an attraction…it will vanish wid time…but she still feels like laughing….so she does…who expected that…’shravan malhotra…d tall hot guy..on whom d girls die’.will like her…’ suman kashyap…a girl wid not such a beautiful face…’

meanwhile..shravan looks at her while she laughs like a maniac..has he made her mad?….he thinks…but she didn’t slap him…that’s enough for today…he falls back …his arms stretched out….hoping that one day.. she will embrace them….
