CHAPTER-2

Suman recalls everything…. How she just now told Aditya to find his true love….d prblm is ‘she’ told him…..d person who was his first ever true love…d day Aditya met her….he fell for her…..though he took some time…to confess it to her….but he loved her from d very beginning….when he confessed his love…they both were small nd immature….nd Suman was a confused teenager…so she accepted his proposal…..but as time passed by…it seemed like..they were never in a relationship…. Suman realised that…it was her mistake…one of d biggest she has done….not bcoz she accepted his proposal….bt bcoz she thinks….she gave him false hope…that they could be together….Aditya too realised what Suman felt….he understood that it was all unreal…..one day Suman came to him…nd asked him…” Hey adi…look we always hve been friends first…I don’t want to spoil that friendship..so can we be normal…like back to being friends again….?”… Nd Aditya accepted this…they became friends again….in fact they grew up to be best friends….they never talked about d past…none of them brought out d topic of love….until now….

Suman comes out of her memories by Aditya ‘s voice.
” Umm… I think..I should leave now…” Aditya says nd stands up to go…..
” Then so should I” Suman says…nd forwards her hand towards him….
Aditya thinks for a while…nd then pulls her up….but he doesn’t look at her …on their whole way to their hostels….when Suman reaches her hostel…she says, ” Ok…bye…I will meet you tomorrow.. ” she smiles at him. But Aditya starts moving from there without saying anything. Suman holds his hand as he turns to go..” Look adi…I m sorry..I really m….but till when will u punish urself bcoz of me…at some point in life…u will hve to move on.” Suman says while Aditya frees his hand and walks away……Suman stands there…staring at his back…she feels guilty… For everything…..she is responsible for his condition..she thinks..her mind is occupied wid just one question…’ Till when?’

Suman is in her room….she is painting…this has always been her way of letting out d emotions….through d strokes…d curves….she is still lost in her thoughts when her phone rings….its her dad…..
“Yes dad…” She says wearily….
“Ms. Suman Kashyap…did u just hve a break up..?” A soft husky voice speaks from d other end….
” Mr. Kabir Kashyap….u very well know..I don’t hve a boyfriend” she says accusingly.
” Then sweetheart y r u sounding so upset?” Her dad asks…concerned.
” Nothing dad…I m tired… Anyway u tell…any specific reason…y did u call?”.. Suman says….
” hmm….y did I call….” Her dad sounds confused…Suman knows that right now her dad must be scratching his head….he always does when he forgets something…
” So u call me..when u remember…I will keep d phone now…” Suman says nd was about to cut d call..when suddenly her dad shouts ” Yessss…I remember”..nd she almost drops d phone..out of fear..
” Dad…..!!.. Stop scaring d hell out of me…now before u forget it again….tell fast..y did u call?” Suman says nd waits…..
” Actually my friend’s son would be joining ur college soon…so..”
” Now? After one month…?” Suman interrupts him…
” Yeah…they had some family prblm…they hve talked it out wid d faculty…” His dad replies…
” OK so wat do u wanna want me to do abt it?” Suman asks…
” I want u help him out wid everything…coz he has missed one month…so help him cover up whatever he has missed…..” Kabir answers….
” What…y!! I m sure he will find someone to help him out….how will I…I don’t even know him ” Suman says a bit quickly…
” I hve always taught u…that to help someone..u don’t need to hve a relation…wid that person…so r u going to prove my teachings wrong my child?” His dad says acting emotional….
” Dad…stop this emotional blackmail….fine…I will help him out…just for u…” Suman says..finally losing to her Dad…..
” Okay so now bye….take care…!” her dad says sweetly….
” Yeah bye…” Suman also says lovingly….. Nd then she remembers something….
” Hello dad….u didn’t tell me his name….”
” Oh…sorry I forgot….He is Shravan Malhotra….. Nd he will be joining tomorrow.”
