Scene 1
Darji comes to his room and looks at Khushwant’s photo. He says I am sorry. Adi comes there and sees the photo. Darji is shocked and drops the photo. Adi picks it up and is confused. He asks Darji if he knew Ginni’s father and why was he apologizing to him? Darji looks away. Adi says just tell me, you knew him? How? You never even told me, why were you apologizing to him? Darji says I was silent for years for a reason, Adi says you have to tell me, I am requesting you. Darji says I can’t tell you, it’s a secret that can break us apart. It’s better if I stay silent. This secret has been eating me alive. Adi says I want to know the truth. Darji tells him the story. The flashback shows how Darji and Khushwant were friends, how he told him about his recipes and Darji promised to become his partner and pay him his dues. Then Darji told Amber about the diary and how Amber wanted to use it to open his restaurant chains. Darji tried to stop him but Amber blackmailed him that they will lose everything if they don’t cheat Khushwant. The flashback ends. Darji tells Adi that I lost to Amber and cheated Khushwant. The flashback shows how Khushwant was excited to open a restaurant with Darji. Darji asked about his diary, Khushwant showed it to him and told him that he was getting ill and forgetting about things but Ginni is helping him. He gave the diary to Darji and went to the washroom. Then Darji left with the diary. Khushwant forgot that he gave the diary to him. The flasjback ends. Adi says you were my superhero then why did you do that with Khushwant? How could you be so selfish? You destroyed a family for your gain. Darji cries and says I was helpless in front of my son. Adi says I don’t know if I can forgive you, you have broken my trust. I came back only for you but now.. you are a cheater. He starts to leave but Darji pleads him to forgive him. Adi says I trusted you the most but I don’t know you anymore. He says you did fraud with Ginni who is my life so I will tell the truth to her, he leaves. Darji cries.
Adi is going to Ginni, Amber tries to stop him but he doesn’t listen. Adi comes to his room and screams in anger.
Ginni is at Gulabo’s house. She tells Ginni that you should take a gift for yourself. Ginni says I just need your blessings. Gulabo says I want to gift Adi, if your father was alive then he would be so happy that you found a partner like Adi. Gulabo brings Khushwant’s ring and says I want to gift it to Adi, it will be Khushwant’s blessings for him. Ginni says this is papa’s last memory. Gulabo says I know that’s why Adi deserves it. Ginni nods.
Adi sees Ginni calling him, he takes the call. Ginni says Gulabo has given a gift for you which is so valuable. It’s my father’s ring and Gulabo thinks only you deserve it. Adi says are you sure? Ginni says if I bow down to anyone after my father then it’s only you so you deserve this. Adi ends the call and is in turmoil.
PRECAP – Adi tells Amber that I will tell the truth to Ginni now. He leaves. Amber tells Darji that you shouldn’t have told Adi, I have to end the matter now. Adi goes to meet Ginni.
