The Episode starts with Chandra returning to his village. He smiles seeing some kids and recalls his Bheel basti kids. He goes home and gets emotional touching the gate. He recalls his childhood. He sees Jagrani working at home. He calls her out. She gets shocked and sees him. She thinks of Chandra. She says Chandu. He says yes, your Chandu. She gets glad seeing him. She cries and hugs him. He asks where is dad. She asks him to come and sit. John Nott tells the seniors about capturing, Banwari, Bismil and Lehri. Inspector also presents his findings. They see Azad’s information page blank. The senior asks who is Azad, I want complete info about him, you don’t have to get your pics in newspapers, just do your job. Chandra dines with Sitaram and Jagrani. They think about Sukhdev. Chandra eats the food
Sitaram tells about the mannat they have made for his return, have food fast and then they shall go for the puja. Jagrani cries. Chandra stops eating. Sitaram asks him to have food, what happened. Chandra eats. Jagrani cries seeing Sukhdev’s belongings. The photo frame falls and breaks. Chandra asks her why is she crying, just glass broke. She says Sukhdev isn’t between us now, he is not alive. He gets shocked and hugs her. She says he fell ill, we got him treated a lot, he couldn’t survive. Chandra says I wasn’t with Sukhdev in his last time.
Sitaram comes to him and says whatever Lord does is good, see Sukhdev is gone, but he has sent you, my years’ wait got fulfulled, else I had lost all hopes, your mum never left hope, Sukhdev has stopped his breath for you for many days, but eventually he left, what could we do. Chandra says don’t fall weak, else I will break. Sitaram says you have become Chandrashekhar Tiwari now, you have grown up, will you come with me to fulfill mannat. Chandra says I wish to stay at home today, you go. Sitaram agrees and goes.
The man in prison is fed food. He cries and pushes away the food plate. Chandra sings Sarfaroshi ki tamanna….. and cooks food. Sitaram and Jagrani come home. She says Chandra won’t go anywhere now. Sitaram says fine, let me tie the kalava. She asks Chandra never to remove it. Chandra says I will not go against you, I have grown up now. Sitaram says I got prasad for you, your fav jalebis. He cries. Chandra eats jalebis. Jagrani says take rest, I will make food. Chandra says no, I will make it. She asks him to take rest. He checks the newspapers. He reads the news about HRA. Chandra packs his bags. He recalls his promise to Jagrani. He thinks of Sitaram. He thinks I have to go, you used to say, we have to do imp duty, I m leaving duty of house on you and Sitaram to fulfill big duties. He ties the kalava to her hand. He takes their blessings and leaves.
