Dhananand asks his courtesans who dared to steal Piplivan’s map. Pandu says king’s trusted slave Chandragupta. Dhananand says Pandu hates slave Chandragupta so much that he finds mistake in Chandragupta’s each task while Chandragupta does unusual tasks and entertains him; earlier he stole golden statue’s head and returned it, then risked his life and fought with tiger, then stole diamond, etc., now he stole Piplivan’s map. He orders Mahamartya to find out why he stole map and why he wants to go to Piplivan. Chandragupta walks into jungle towards Puplivan and laughs that Chanakya told he will find monsters in jungle, but he did not find any, Chanakya was wrong. He senses someone behind and pulls knife, but finds rabbit behind and continues lauging that Chanakya

was wrong. In palace, Mahamartya orders soldiers to catch Chandragupta and kill him right there as he dared to think of reaching Piplivan. Chanakya’s aide hears Mahamartya’s order to soldiers and rushes to inform him. Chandragupta sees soldiers in jungle and realizes King came to know about his Piplivan’s trip and starts running. Soldiers follow him. He reaches a narrow path and reminisces Chanakya’s warning to never take that path. He apologizes Chanakya and runs towards narrow path while soldiers shower arrow on him and one brushes his shoulder away. Soldiers laugh that they don’t have to kill Chandragupta as he himself went into death path.

Chanakya’s aide reaches him and informs that queen Mura wants to meet him. Chanakya says not at this time as king’s eyes are on them. Mura enters wearing shawl and asks Chanakya why did he send Chandragupta to Piplivan.

Chandragupta tried after running stops at a lake to drink water and gets afraid hearing wild animal’s roar. He runs again. Wild bear attacks him and injures hand. Chandragupta climbs tree to save himself.

Mura confronts Chanakya and says he is too cruel to send Chandragupta into death trap, she should have better informed Chandragupta that he is his mother. Chanakya says he sent Chandragupta to know same and just like ironsmith heats iron and then hits it repeatedly to make a sword, Chandragupta also has to bear hardship to become strong to free motherland from cruel kings like Dhananand, he has to be prepared to be able to handle any situation, else there will be many Mura’s who will see their sons sand themselves as slaves and bear insult via kings like Dhanananand. He continues his moral speech.

Chanakya Niti: Chanakya says friend’s company is important, but friends praise them always and force them to relax, but enemies make them realize their mistake and make them strong.
