War erupts between Chandragupta, Seleucus, and Dhananand. Seleucus attacks Chanakya from behind. Chanakya fight with him and warns to stop attacking from behind like a coward. He overpowers Seleucus and pushes him away. Amartya comes to Seleucus’s support, and they both attack Chanakya.
Dhananand fighting with Chandragupta taunts Chandragupta that his acharya is also going where most of his dear ones have gone. Chanakya overpowers Seleucus and Amartya and soldiers captures them both. Chandragupta throws down Dhananand on ground and warns he will die now, reminiscing Dhananand killing all his dear ones. Dhananand chants Magadh amar rahe. Chandragupta kills him.
Voiceover says Seleucus accepted his defeat and made a treaty with Chandragupta to return all his looted wealth back to Bharath and got his daughter Helena married to Chandragupta as a peace treaty. Chandragupta gets ready to perform Dhananand’s last rights. Chanakya suggests him that if they both perform Dhananand’s last rights, his soul will not be in peace, so he should let Dhananand’s trusted aide Amartya perform his last rights. Chandragupta allows Amartya to perform Dhananand’s last rights.
Chanakya walks into Dhanaannd’s royal courtyard reminiscing Dhananand insulting him by pulling his hair and ordering to beg humbly in front of him, etc., and Chanakya taking oath to end his evil rule and get capable king in place of him for an united Bharath. Chanakya greets him. Amartya apologizes Chanakya and says he forgot that serving nation is his duty than serving a king and requests to forgive him. Chanakya forgives him. Chandragupta asks if his promise is fulfilled. Chanakya ties back his hair saying his promise is complete today and now it is time to teach arthashastra. Chandragupta reminisces Chanakya promising him to teach his written arthashastra book to whole world when Chandragupta becomes king of united Bharath and giving him book asks to follow his promise now.
Chanakya Niti: Sandalwood has its special quality; when it is kept in something for sometime, its smell will stay in that item for a long time, similarly their good deeds should make people remember them; if we are loyal to our country and follow our duties, their country each citizen can be Chandragupta Maurya.
Precap: Serial ends with Chanakya tying his hair back after fulfilling his promise and Chandragupta finally becoming united Bharath’s king.

Somehow with Sthul and Durdhara’s death Chandragupta maurya seroial became disappointing
This was a good serial showing the overall history – you can tell Chandragupt’s character wasnt involved in the last taping as his reaction to Durdhara’s death was not real.
