Chandragupta tells his friends that Chanakya acharya wants to steal diamond from Dhananand’s throne, Chanakya is a trickster with wrong motto and greed and is misusing them. Friend says when acharya has given him some task, he must have thought something, why don’t he go at night and steal diamond. Chandragupta says nobody can enter palace without permission even during day, guards gives him permission band to enter palace and then return it in the evening while he leaves palace. Chanakya shows him palace’s map and asks him to remember it and go via secret route. Chandragupta says he memorize map. Chanakya burns map and says only his memory can keep him alive now. Chandragupta shouts why did he burn it and warns once he finishes this task, Chanakya has to inform him

about his mother, else he will make Chanakya’s life a hell. Once he leaves, Stulbhadra asks Chanakya that he wanted to make Chandragupta as king, then why he wants to make him thief now. Chanakya says it is part of Chandragupta’s training.

Durdhara continues fuming that her brother killed innocent horse Toofan instead of arrogant Chandragupta. Her maid and friend Shipra says her brother sent her a beautiful chandelier to calm her down and starts praising Chandragupta. Durdhara cuts chandelier rope and when it is about to fall on Shipra holds rope and warns Shipra that she is a maid and her duty is to praise her boss and not enemies. Chandragupta climbs palace wall and reaches corridor. He drops vase. Bhadrasaal hears sound and walks towards it. Durdhara and Shipra also walk out hearing sound. Chandragupta somehow escapes from guard’s eyes and hides. He hides seeing Durdhara and runs behind her. Durdhara notices his shadow and thinks what is he doing at this time, she will get him punished now.

Chandragupta tries to find away and spreading soil on ground draws map reminiscing Chanakya’s advice to use one’s senses to remember something. He reaches courtyard’s roof and opens rooftop lid. Lamps blow off and before guards light lamps again, he steals diamond from throne and escapes. Chandragupta senses someone’s presence.
