Bhadrasaal warns Chandragupta that he is princess’ bodyguard and should do his duty instead of interfering in his work. Chandragupta leaves. Mura comes out of hiding and relaxes that Chandragupta left, else he would have felt bad seeing her working like slave. Durdhara seeing Chandragupta acts as trying to ride Toofan horse and falls. Chandragupta holds her and says when she does not know to ride, she should not try. He tries to climb Toofan, controls it and rides away. Durdhara says Chandragupta does not know he rode king’s horse, king will not spare him.

Chandragupta rides horse to Mura and says he saw her working as slave. Mura nervously asks why did he come back. Chandragupta says he will not let her work alone like slave and helps her. She says king will punish

him and these citizens will inform king. Chandragupta says nobody will inform king. They finish task. Mura feeds him rotis saying he should not mind as they are very hard. Chandragupta says he does not mind as she would have prepared it with so much pain reminiscing her son. Mura says she prepared them for this son. He asks why she decorated street. Mura reminisces Chanakya telling not to inform Chandragupta that she is also his spy and when she asks what if he comes to know, Chanakya says he will handle Chandragupta then. She murmurs that Dhananand has invited his arch enemy. Chandragupta thinks who must be king enemy. He hides seeing Bhadrasaal. Bhadrasaal asks Mura how did she finish her task so early, who helped her. Citizens say nobody helped her, she finished task alone.

Chandragupta returns on horse and pampering horse says he feels bonded to him and wants to keep him with him. Dhanananand walks in with Durdhara. Durdhara alleges that Chandragupta forcefully took king horse even after her warning. Chandragupta says king’s sister is lying. Dhananand slaps him and he falls down. Dhananand then shouts how dare he is to touch king’s horse. Chandragupta says truth cannot be hidden with force, he should ask his sister if she provoked him to ride horse or not. Durdhara nervously stammers and says she told, but not Toofan. Dhananand pulls his sword and angrily walks towards Chandragupta and raises sword to kill. Chandragupta closes his eyes in fear. Dhananand kills horse instead and warns Chandragupta that nobody has right to touch king’s belongings.

Chandragupta returns to Chanakya at night and asks what is his today’s task. Chanakya says he can rest today. Chandragupta reverts back and says he is playing with him as he is his slave, why don’t he play with Dhananand who killed an old mother’s son, killed innocent farmer, horse, etc..; he cannot dare and will give lame excuse. He also reveals that celebrations are planned in palace as king’s arch enemy is coming. Chanakya thinks Selukus must be coming then, what is Dhananand’s plan.

Chanakya Niti: Chanakya says they fail in life many times and think what wrong wrong when they worked hard; gives example that papaya fruit is hidden with cloth to protect it from insects; similarly the have to hide their motto if they want it to succeed.
