Chandragupta confronts Chanakya not to think he is his puppet; he will fight for his parents, senapati Matsaldev and his Piplivan and Chanakya has to just guide him. Chanakya says fine then. Chandragupta asks then he can go to palace. Chanakya says he should go there with a plan and not just attack and get into trouble. He gives an example that he got pricked by a tree thorn and instead of destroying tree, he put sweet in tree’s root, ants ate roots and tree died naturally.
In palace, Durdhara sits sadly reminiscing Chandragupta. Shipra takes Chandragupta’s name. Durdhara excitedly searches him. Shipra asks if she likes Chandragupta so much. Durdhara says she hates him and does not care if he is dead. Dhananand sees heavy air and thinks something will happen now.
Dhananand happily greets Chandragupta calling him his cockroach has returned. Mura watches standing far behind Dhananand. Chandragupta bends in front of Dhananand and takes Mura’s blessings. Mura blesses him. Dhananand hugs him and asks where was he all these days if he was alive. Chandragupta says he went to get special seasonal flower for princess Durdhara and fell into water falls, he did not give up and tried multiple times and at last succeeded and brought flower. He gifts flower to Durdhara and asks if she is happy now. Durdhara smiles and says she is very happy, as promised slave can ask anything he wants. Chandragupta says just like him, he has 3 slave friends and he wants king to give them a job and keep them under his guidance. Dhananand angrily extends his hand towards Chandragupta’s neck when Mura says his wish will be fulfilled. Dhananand says a king and brother will always fulfill his sister’s demand. His brothers get jealous.
Dhananand’s brothers angrily tell Dayimaa that slave is bringing 3 slaves, they will bring 9 and then 90 and take over them. Dayimaa says nothing of that sort will happen as 3 slaves will not enter palace at all.
Chandragupta informs his friends about taking them to palace. Stulbhadra dreams of royal food while other 2 dream of royal amenities. Chandragupta asks Chanakya why he wants his 3 friends to work in palace. Chanakya says he wants them to be around Dhananand weaken his roots, form an army to fight against Dhananand. Chandragupta asks if he wants a weaponless army to fight against Dhananand’s huge family. Chanankya says they have to weaken Dhananand’s roots, he will fall down himself.
Chanakya Niti: Most wild animals hunt for their living, they succeed sometimes and sometimes not, but hawk always succeeds with a plan, it watches its prey’s movement for days and then in 1 go attacks it; similarly if one has to succeed in life, they have to plan well and execute at once carefully.
Precap: Chanakya suggests Chandragupta to use enemy’s weakness in his favor, so destroy Dhananand’s wealth first. Chandragupta burns Dhananand’s secret godowns. Dhananand stands fuming and puzzled.
