Chandra Nandini: A Siya ke Ram story Episode – 3

Nandini hated Chandra. But now, since they were in an unknown land, she needed to work together with him as Sita-Ram. To correct his mistake, she said hurriedly, “Oh Raghunandan, you are so sweet. You still remember about how I admire golden deer. I only told it to you once.” “O…Oh! Exactly!” Chandra seemed to understand. Lakshman just stared blankly.
Chandra was going after the deer with his bow. Lakshman would stay with Nandini. But, who didn’t know the rest of the story? Nandini didn’t seem to realize that they might not see each other for a long, long time. He turned to leave, and stopped. He ran back, held her hand and said, “You know Nandini, I might miss you.”

Nandini looked at Chandra’s earnest eyes. “Me too,” she said, “You are the only one I know here,” As Chandra left, Nandini felt an impending sadness that she never felt before.

Chandra didn’t know how long he ran. That asur was sure fast. Soon after Chandra shot him, he cried “Lakshman!Lakshman! Save me!” “What?” Chandra thought. Then he suddenly remembered. “Nandiniiiiiii!” he cried in his mind. Lakshman soon came running. Chandra knew the story, but he felt angry. “You fool, you came running at lightning speed when an asur called you. You have left the only person I know here ready to be kidnapped.”
Nandini was being pulled into the pushpakviman. She was thinking of Chandra, and his parting words. Raavan stopped and stared at her. He loosened his grip, so Nandini also stopped and waited for him to continue. “Aren’t you scared?” he asked. “Oh Yeah! Raghunandan save me! I am kidnapped !” Nandini cried. “Ha-ha-ha” Raavan did his part by pushing her in.

Chandra ran back to the hut with Lakshman in tow. “Noooooo!” he cried. Only Nandini’s dupatta laid on the ground.

Nandini sat on the floor of the pushpakvimaan. Lankesh was walking around it aimlessly. He stopped and stared at her for some time, and when she ignored him, he turned his back at her and stared at the sky. Nandini suddenly saw a group of weapons on near her. That talwar would give a good stab at Raavan, and he would be gone for good.
