Chandni Sharma reveals she cried when she signed the contract for ‘Kaamnaa’

Produced by Cockcrow and Shaika Entertainment, Sony Entertainment Television’s  ‘Kaamnaa – Hoga Khwaahishon Aur Usoolon Ka Aamna Saamna’ is all set to premiere on 15th November and will air every Mon-Fri at 8:30 pm on.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Bhopal, the story is based on the Bajpai family which is a quintessential Indian middle-class family. Manav, the man of the house is a sincere government official who believes in living an honest life while Akanksha her wife is a devoted housewife who has big dreams and desires to live a luxurious life.

In a recent interview, Chandni talked about it and shared, “I got emotional. When the production team put forth the contract of the show in front of me, I was literally in tears. I cried while I signed the dotted lines. However, It had happened to me earlier that even after signing the papers, the project didn’t materialize and hence there was a little fear in my heart. My family was also not showing their full excitement when they came to know that I’ve signed the show as they didn’t want to take any chances”.

She added, “After the promo hit the screens, I was excited and so is my family. We’re ecstatic and waiting for the show to hit the TV screens. When the promo hit the channel, I was with my friend but I made sure to watch the same alone in a room. When I watched it, I cried again; tears started to roll down my cheeks. I’m sometimes very harsh on myself as far as being critical is concerned, I always believe that I could’ve done a better job when I see my work on screen. But ‘Kaamnaa’ promo was bang on. Everything seemed perfect”.
