Chand Jalne Laga (The Moon Has Started Burning) Part 1
I dedicate this to Revu who wants me to write on Deva-Tara.
A little boy covered a little girl’s eyes and took her to the terrace.
He:Wait for the surprise.
He was Deva and she was Tara.
Deva:Now open your eyes Tara.
He removed his hands off her eyes.She opened her eyes.
She was amused by the starry night.
Tara:The twinkling stars look so pretty.
Deva:The stars have decorated the sky and made it very beautiful Tara.
Tara smiled:Yes,you are right Deva.
Deva and Tara sat on the horse and enjoyed horse riding.
The childhood moments were remembered by the adult Deva while caressing his horse.
Deva:I miss those days.
Deva went away.
After he went way,Tara reached there.
She caressed the horse.
Tara:Our childhood was so nice.I feel like reliving those days.
The next day…
Tara and Deva were bathing the horse.
Tara:Deva,please take me to your horse.I want to do horse riding with you.
Deva smiled:Are you sure Tara?
Tara:Yes..just like how we used to do in childhood.
Deva smiled:Okay.
Deva and Tara did horse riding and enjoyed.
Tara:When I go from here,I will miss all this Deva.After marriage I will be going to America.
Deva felt sad.
Tara and Arjun exchanged rings and smiled at each other.Deva was boiling with anger and jealousy.
He just walked away.Tara noticed it.She became dull.
Arjun:What happened Tara?Why are you looking gloomy?
Tara:Nothing like that Arjun.
She smiled artificially.
He smiled.
After the party,Tara went near Deva.
Tara:Deva,today was my engagement.Your best friend’s engagement.Then why did you leave the party in the middle?
Deva:Because I did not like you with Arjun.That’s why I left the party.Cancel this wedding Tara.
Tara was shocked.
Tara:What are you saying Deva?Why you don’t like me with Arjun?
Deva:Because I love you Tara.But I was scared to confess my love to you.So I hid my love from you.But now I can’t bear it.I cannot tolerate you with anyone else.So I told you the truth now.
Tara was shocked to the core.
Deva:Please don’t marry Arjun.
Tara became upset.
Tara:How can I cancel the wedding when I have never loved you as a lover?
Deva was shattered.
Deva:So you cannot love me.But do you love Arjun?
Tara:I don’t know.But Arjun is a nice guy.I think I chose the right guy for me.
Deva became upset.
Tara:Please try to understand Deva.We are best friends.
Suddenly Deva pulled her towards him aggressively and said:But I love you Tara.Can’t I love my best friend?I did’nt do it purposefully.It just happened automatically.In childhood I told you that stars made the sky beautiful.Like that you made my life beautiful Tara.Like your name signifies you are my star.
Tara became upset.They shared an emotional eye lock.
Tara broke the eye lock and walked out.Deva was in deep pain.
After few days….
Tara visited Deva.
Tara:Deva!
Deva:Tara,if you came to check whether I have changed you are wrong.My love for you has not vanished and it will never go away.I don’t have the strength to watch your wedding.So I am leaving.My friend has arranged a job for me in Mumbai.So I am going there.
Tara was shocked.
Tara:You are leaving?
Deva:Yes Tara.My mental state is not in the right condition.My heart is burning just like the moon is burning.I won’t be there for your wedding.In fact we will never see each other again as you will be going to America with Arjun.
Tara was shattered.
Tara:But don’t break our friendship like this Deva.
Deva was upset.
Deva said shedding tears:I am the one who will suffer the most when our friendship breaks.In our hearts,we will remain as best friends.But physically we will be separated because of the circumstance.
Tara wept.
Deva went to Mumbai.
After 6 months…
Deva was seen with a woman.

Thank you so much for starting this so soon. This first part was totally impressive. Childhood moments of Tara and Deva are so lovely. Horse riding scene was so beautiful. After they grow up I thought it would be very romantic but surprising that only Deva has feelings for Tara and Tara don’t feels the same for Deva, His pain and anger seeing Tara with Arjun was so painful. Tara enquiring about it and Deva telling his feelings and Tara rejecting it because she consider him as her best friend only was heart touching. Deva going to Mumbai stating that he can’t see Tara getting married with that Arjun was so heart breaking. His heart burning like the moon is burning was so emotional justifying the title. I haven’t seen this show. But I loved the title track of this show and that’s why I requested you to write story featuring them. Pics are so beautiful.
Thanks a lot.Even I have not seen the show except the promos before it started which had the title song.I also liked the title song.
