The following morning, UB asks whether Kaumoli slept properly or not as she is looking tired and withdrawn…UB tells her to go to her room and rest…Then Mukat enters the dining area to sit at the table…Slowly one by one starting from the father leaves the table, followed by Mohan who says he is not hungry…Manthan too wants to leave but UB stops him by saying its against their rules for him…
This makes Manthan angry and says that the rules are made for him to follow only…He reminds his mother that he got a scolding for no reason when money was missing from the bank but when it was found out that Mukat had taken the money, no one said a word…He feels that the rules are changed for Mukat and Manav only…He warns his mother that now he too will do what
CC goes to UB and speaks to her about this situation…She tells UB that she did a good thing for not allowing Mukat to leave the house, but she does not understand as to why UB is supporting Mukat and not Kaumodi…UB tries to make CC understand that before a MIL, she is a mother and Kaumodi is an outsider and she still believes that Kaumodi is still at fault for allowing Mukat to cheat…This shocks CC…However, Kaumodi overhears the entire conversation and decides to leave the house…
She writes are not saying that as she is an outsider and that Mukat has found someone else, she has decided to leave the house…Manav calls CC who has gone to visit Mayruli at her surgery but before Mayruli can meet CC, CC leaves as she comes to know that Kaumodi has left the house…
CC returns to the house to see that Manthan is scolding Mukat for his misdeeds and is disgusted by his behaviour…Mukat is worried for his wife and wonders where she has gone…They decide to find her but CC sees the note and realises that Kaumodi left the house after overhearing UB words…
CC goes to confront UB and tells her that she did wrong to support Mukat and not Kaumodi…She starts lecturing UB that it is her fault that the family is breaking because of her misplaced support for Mukat…She continues to say that every DIL looks at their MIL as someone who they can come to for their problems rather than running off to their maika…She continues to emphasis that UB is breaking the family and that Kaumodi fulfilled her duty as a bahu and its UB who probably did not allow her to be a good wife as she only focused on being a good bahu…She tells UB that a family only stays together if members of the family are allowed freedom and that hearts should join…She reminds UB that she too was an outsider who made this house her own..She says that Kaumodi too has earned her right to consider to be part of this family…
CC is stopped in her talk by Manav who says that Kaumodi is no where to be found..They decide to check the bus depot…CC says she will too come and search for Kaumodi…
CC tells Manav that they should separate and find Kaumodi…CC thinks she notices Kaumodi but it turns out to be someone else…Manav tries to see on the bus but CC calls him without realising that Kaumodi is on the that bus….
Manthan calls Manav inquiring whether they have found Kaumodi or not as she is not at the rail station…However, CC and Manav notice Kaumodi who is sitting by the bus station unable to get on the bus..She says that she could not leave her daughters behind…CC tells her to come home but Kaumodi say which home but UB enters and says her home…
Elsewhere, Mukat spends some time with his daughters which make them happy…
