Continuation from Episode 79:
Shivaay was busy in a board meeting in the office when Priyanka called him-
P: Bhaiya,come home right now.It’s urgent.
S: I am in the middle of an important meeting Prinku.Can’t come leaving it.What happened?
She tells him everything.
S: Have they reached?
P: Will be,any moment.
S: Okay,I am just coming…………Finishing the meeting as soon as possible,Shivaay reaches Oberoi Mansion.

Everyone has gathered in the enormous hall of OM except Mr.Tej Singh Oberoi.He is out of town because of some personal interests!
Oberois are entertaining their guests- Mr.Harshvardhan Trivedi and his sister,Kavita Randhawa,her husband Mr.Meghraj Randhawa.
They are here to discuss about Priyanka and Ranveer’s(Mr.Trivedi’s nephew)marriage.
Both prospective bride and groom’s family reach to a positive conclusion mutually,considering every aspect.Final decision will be taken after Tej’s return as he is the father of Pri.He returns one week later and gets informed about the alliance.
Everyone thought he would be happy but exactly opposite happened-
T: …..Priyanka is my only daughter.How could you all think that I would marry her off to that family?She is Tej Singh Oberoi’s daughter.Ladkon ki line lage huye hai uske liye.
J: First hear what we want to say.You can decide later Tej.
T: Plz Jhanvi,I am not a daughter-burdened father.My child deserves best as she is used to get best out of everything.Sorry but I can’t agree on this proposal.
S: Bade Papa,Ranveer is a very good guy.He is an IPS officer,an ACP by profession and belongs to a well-to-do family.I have met him personally.He is perfect for our Prinku.
T: Just because he is Harsh’s nephew,you are ready to go with this alliance?You are Prinku’s brother Shivaay.I thought at least you would support me.It’s a matter of her happiness and whole life.
S: Mr.Trivedi has nothing to do with my decision.I am Prinku’s brother that’s why I am in favour of this alliance as my sister’s happiness matters to me most,nothing else.
T: How can you be so sure?I am just unable to understand why you all are hell bent on forcing this alliance on her?
J: Priyanka loves Ranveer,Tej!
T: What?
D: Jhanvi is telling the truth.In fact Prinku and Ranveer love each other.No-one is forcing her Tej.She has found her love and life-partner both,in Ranveer.
T: Sorry Mummy Ji but I believe,in today’s world only Love can’t sustain life.Money is the reality of present time.And Priyanka is an Oberoi.She has been brought up in luxury,provided with every single comfort.How would she manage?
D: What is the use of that money if it can’t bring happiness?You can buy everything with your money but can’t buy real happiness.In your life you have seen nothing but money and status of people.
I am glad that my grand-daughter has chosen love over money being your daughter.
Surely you can give her all physical,material comfort Tej but those can’t satisfy her heart and soul.Money is a necessity not a need.Remember this Tej.
T: Can anyone tell me,since when this has been going on?
Tej goes on listening silently to the back-ground story of PriVeer.Seven months ago Oberois attended the inauguration ceremony of Anika’s fashion house and Priyanka met Ranveer there for the first time.
Since then,they have been in love…..Hearing everything Tej said nothing for a long time.
Later he declared his decision and that is- No,which is final.
Tej’s decision makes Pri disheartened.She does not protest against Tej but her condition becomes vulnerable like a love-sick beloved.She stops eating and makes her condition worst by crying day and night.
Shivaay realizes that situation is getting out of control.To save Pri,he decides to deal with Tej in his own style.
At first Tej refuses to hear what Shivaay wants to tell.Then he brings out his trump card.
Shivaay convinces Tej very tactfully like how he would be benifited if Ranveer becomes his son-in-law!
Highlighting Prinku’s condition,her love for Tej vice-versa,Shivaay bats for her future.
Tej could not ignore or discard Shivaay’s strong points and finally agrees for the alliance with one condition- Shivaay is taking the responsibility.
Happiness returns in Oberoi Mansion with the ringing of Priyanka’s marriage bell,only daughter of the Oberois.
Randhawas send Sagun in the Oberoi Mansion.Ranveer and Priyanka’s alliance becomes official.Roka and ring ceremony take place in Delhi,at Sunflower Petals in the presence of both the families,relatives and invited guests.
Marriage date gets fixed and bride & groom’s family land in Jaipur,for the wedding.
A big wedding hall gets booked where all the function before marriage will take place and staying of the family members and guests are arranged there too.

Anika is in her room,unpacking her things.She is about to open one of the bags but phone rings.Talking over the phone she starts removing things from the bag.Cutting the call she gets surprised-
A: These are gents cloths.One second,it’s not my bag………She looks around and finds the sticker- Shivaay Singh Oberoi.
It belongs to Shivaay.I think got exchanged by mistake.He must be searching it…….She puts everything back carefully in the bag those she removed but forgets one thing- A diary.It was behind the bag so she did not notice.
Anika calls on the room service and sends the bag.
Gauri and Om are texting each other on phone,from their rooms-
O: Do you remember our last Jaipur encounter?
G: Obviously.
O: By the way,I did not expect that you would reply my message.
G: Actually I can’t sleep in the first night in a new place.Was awake then saw your message then replied.
O: Same happens with me too.Even I was unable to sleep so thought if you…..
G: That means you were time passing now,with me?
O: No no.I wanted to talk to you,really.If you don’t mind,can I ask you a question?
G: Of course.
O: What’s your thought on marriage,especially yours.You know,this is the season of marriage!
G: Hmm…Have not thought on it yet.
O: Um..Do you have any boyfriend?
G: Nope…Do you have any girlfriend?
O: Yes,I do have!
G: Who?
O: You!?
G: When did I become your girlfriend Mr.Long Hair Oberoi?
O: You don’t know?Really?
G: Really.To how many girls you have said this………………………..Their chatting continues.

Sangeet and haldi and other few rituals get over with much fun-frolic between bride and groom’s family.Mehandi is taking place as the last ritual before the wedding.In a big decorated room girls re applying mehandi along with bride.
Pinky is making fuss over the design of Prinku’s mehandi and getting into banter with Kavita which Jhanvi is enjoying standing with them.Fortunately boys are allowed too!
Anika too is applying mehandi.She has worn a deep sky-blue colour off shoulder frock-gown which ha silver colour border.A gold chain is shining over her bosom.
Shivaay comes and sits beside her,without making any sound.Without turning Anika realizes its Shivaay and she smiles a sweet smile.Chanchan and Chanchal are playing nearby.
Shivaay smiles watching the bangles Anika has worn.He bought those from Nashik in that night,for her.He coughs a little to draw her attention.Still she remains unmoved.He tries two-three more times.
This time she speaks-
A: If you have caught cold,drink cough syrup?Should I bring it?
S: So much concern?
A: Yes,I am from groom’s side without that typical “Hum Ladke Wale Hain” attitude!Can help anytime,if you need.
S: Hmmm……Have you finished with applying mehandi?How long it will take?
A: Almost done.Why?
S: Won’t you write any name on your palm?Naam se yaad aaya,where is our….I mean your doctor friend Sagar Shekhawat?
A: He is busy in the hospital.But don’t worry,he will manage and reach before the wedding.I will tell him to bring your cough syrup!As you reminded me……I will write S on my palm!
Shivaay says in his mind-
” I see,you want to play right?Let me contribute my part Ms.Chantomai!Did I just use her vocabulary?”
S: Don’t just stop writing only S.Take my suggestion and go for whole name- S-A-G-A-R,big and bright!You see,my name also starts with the latter S.If you don’t do that then it can make me feel that you…..have chosen my name!
Anika suppresses her laughter and Shivaay could not see her as he has sat backing her.
A: As you wish.I will write the full name to avoid confusion.Anything for you.
S: Oh thank you so much.
A: Pleasure is mine.By the way,where is your doctor friend Ms.Tia Kapoor?Won’t she come?
S: Like your friend,my friend is also busy.Life of a doctor is really hectic,full of emergency.
That’s why sometimes I think,a doctor should marry another doctor.That will lessen a lot more problem!Both personal and professional!
A: Is this piece of advice for me or you meant it like that?
S: In…In general!
A: Do one thing,pass this advice to Dr.Tia Kapoor,your friend,emphasizing my name!Will you Shivaay?
S: Absolutely!Done…..Both of them start laughing,silently.
There in the middle of the room,guests and family members are dancing on a decorated open stage.Mr.Trivedi is dancing on the song “Sapne ne milti hain woh kudi meri….”
He brings Mrs.Trivedi on the stage too.Everyone starts cheering for them.Later they make senior Oberois and Randhawas to join them.They all are dancing and enjoying themselves.
Pointing at Mr.Trivedi,Shivaay says-
S: Your Mom-Dad’s marriage is a love marriage,no?
A: How do you know?
S: Have seen how your Dad treats Vasundhara aunty.Even after so many years of marriage,they seem so in love with each other.Anika says smiling-
A: That’s true.Besides loving,Mom and Dad trust each other in everything they do.Hardly they hide anything from each other.If any argument arises,they don’t let it affect their relation.
Without saying anything,they get to know each other’s mind.Perhaps they face typical husband-wife problem but that does not create any issue between them.
They are connected with each other by every means.They are independent still love to depend on each other.To run a married life successfully,one needs to surrender himself with full dedication without losing one’s individuality.
More than anything,Mom and Dad give precious time to each other.
No matter how busy Dad stays,he manages to spend time with Mom and the family and Mom does the same.
But I think every couple has their own personal recipe to run a marriage successfully.My parents don’t pretend that they are happy.They are actually,truly happy which can be seen in their faces.I feel really proud and blessed to be their daughter…………….
Shivaay was listening to Anika’s words in total awe.Sitting at a little distance,Ranveer says to Priyanka-
R: Anika and Shivaay bhaiya look so perfect with each other.Don’t you think?
P: You are right.They are made for each other type couple.Together,they look so happy and content.
R: I have noticed it too.
To make the function more beautiful,everyone starts performing.Om and Gauri,Rudra and Soumya dance on “Mumbai dilli diya kudiyan..”,Ranveer-Pri dance on a romantic one.Function comes to an end with ShivOmRu performing on “Aaja Mahi Veh…” dedicated for Priyanka,where everyone participates.
