“Who is this Ishqi, and what is he doing in your home this early in the morning” Rohan asked looking at Ahaan
Ishqi looked at Rohan and then at Ahaan, why did she feel like a vada which was sandwiched between two pav’s. She missed Mumbai’s vada pav and her mouth watered. Ishqi is this the time to think about that, she scolded herself. Ahaan was looking at Rohan as if he would kill him if given a chance.
“Rohan meet Ahaan, he is Mr.Mehta’s mentor and Ahaan meet Rohan, he is businessman”
“Ishqi you didn’t introduce me properly” Rohan said, he came near to Ahaan and held out his hand “I am Ishqi’s fiancée”
“Ishqi didn’t introduce me properly too” Ahaan said, he too came forward and took Rohan’s hand”I am Ishqi’s friend”
When did we become friends, Ishqi thought?
“Ahaan was just leaving actually” Ishqi intervened, else their face off would have continued.
“No, I wasn’t leaving, I need to talk to you Ishqi” Ahaan said
“We have nothing more to talk Ahaan, please leave”
“Please Ishqi, just give me 5 mins, then I will leave”
Ishqi looked at Rohan and Rohan understood. He hugged her and left from there.
“Ishqi I have really missed you in the last few months, come back with me to Mumbai. I .. I .. like you a lot and want to marry you” ahaan says nervously
Ishqi starts laughing
“Am I hearing you right Mr.Ahaan Veer Malhotra,you want to marry me? The guy for whom I was a homebreaker, a non sanskari girl just because I had my own dreams and ambitions, I wanted to build a career for myself… You never trusted me and now suddenly you want to marry me”
“You were never a home breaker Ishqi, it was a misunderstanding and I have already asked forgiveness for it. I will say again I am sorry Ishqi”
Ishqi looked at Ahaan and could see that he was telling this sincerely, his eyes always spoke the truth.
“Ok Ahaan, I forgive you… but nothing can happen beyond this. We both have separate lives and its better to leave it that way” and she turns away from him.
“Cant you give me on chance Isqhi, to prove myself to you..just one chance”
“You are late Ahaan, I am already engaged to Rohan”
“Just give me a months’ time Ishqi, if I still can’t win your heart and your trust, I will return and never come back into your life again” his heart pains wen he says that
And that same pain is reflected in Ishqi heart, there was always a hope that Ahaan would come to her, but if she accepted his deal and if he can’t prove himself then she will never see him. But she had to give him this chance not for him, but for herself, she still felt something for Ahaan, before marrying Rohan, that feeling had to die. Else it will be an injustice to Rohan. And he didn’t deserve it.
“Ok Ahaan, I will give you a chance, but you need to keep your side of the deal and never see me again if you fail”
Ahaan was so happy listening to this, he just hugs her tightly. And Ishqi hearts starts beating wildly. She tries to move away but Ahaan doesn’t allow her.
“Thanks a lot Ishqi, and AVM never fails” he says proudly.
“Now if you will excuse me, I have a business to run AVM, so please show yourself out” and she starts going to the kitchen
“What.. you not even going to offer me some coffee” he asks surprised
“No Mr.Malhotra… there are lots of cafes in Dehli.. go buy from somewhere” she says and shows him the door.
“Ok..ok I am going but will be back soon” he says and leaves
Ishqi put her back to the door and slowly comes to her knees, had she done the right thing… will she be able to go through this. But she needs to tell Rohan about it, its not good to hide anything from him.
She called Rohan and told him everything. There was complete silence once she finished.
“Rohan, please say something”
“Ishqi please answer me honestly… do you like him”
“Yes, I like him, but we aren’t right for each other… he would never want and independent, working woman… he wants a submissive one… and I can never be that, I need your support Rohan please. So that the chapter of Ahana will be over forever” she says, but her heart says otherwise
“I am glad you told me everything clearly Ishqi, I will be there for you always”
“Thanks Rohan, for being there for me always”

The same day evening on the outskirts of the city
Two cars came speeding from the opposite directions and stopped some distance away.
A woman exited from one car and came to the center, a man exited from another car and came to the center
“Hi, I am Riya.. she held her hand Infront of him”
“Hi, I am Rohan.. he took the hand she gave and shook it.
