Ahaan opened the envelope and was stunned.

“What is it Ahaan” asked dadi “show us also”

“Its work related dadi, you won’t understand” he said, and his eyes met Isqhi’s. A silent message was conveyed between them and Ahaan left for his room.

Dadi got very angry seeing his, so he had started defending Ishqi and lying to her as well.

After some time even Ishqi left from there and went to Ahaan’s room. As soon she entered a hand pulled her, she was about to scream but a hand clasped her mouth.  She came face to face with Ahaan, and he tries to kiss her. She lightly pushes him away

Ahaan looks at her “I got scared the way you pulled me” she shows fake anger to him.

He back hugs her, closes his eyes relishing the moment and whispers in her ears “you don’t have to get scared when I am there” and he could feel Isqhi smiling at him. Isqhi gets lost in the moment, it felt like the entire world ceased to exist expect them. She slowly opens her eyes scanning Ahaan’s room. Suddenly her eyes land upon the envelope. She gently removes Ahaan’s hand and goes to see it. She opens it and sees all the photos, they were of her and Rohan hugging, she kissing him on his check, that one time when Rohan had tried to kiss her on the lips but she had ducked and instead he had kissed her on the cheeks.

“Ahaan… these pictures“  She was about to say something, when Ahaan puts a finger on her mouth.

“you don’t have to say anything. These are yours and Rohan’s pictures. He was your fiancée and friend, so you would be close to him” he says

She was stunned for a moment, because Ahaan had trusted her, and not even bothered to ask her about them” We were never that close Ahaan”

“I trust you Ishqi, no need of any explanation” he smiled, and she smiled too. She never thought Ahana would change to this extent, he trusted her completely. This was the relation she always wanted.

“We need to find who sent me the pictures Isqhi. Someone wants to create a rift between us, and wants to tarnish your image” Ahaan says thinking about who it might be

“It might be Riya, she never wanted us to be together”

“I will find out about it”

Dadi listens to all this from outside their door and thinks “you will never reach that person, because you trust that person the most, even more than Isqhi, and it’s me” she smiles wickedly. She recalls how Riya had clicked these pictures and given it to her. Riya had already given up on getting Ahaan, but she would never allow Ishqi to come in her house. And leaves from there to plot something bigger.

“Wow, it’s the happiest day of my life today” Sonu shrieks

“Tujhe kya hogaya” Karthik asks

“tu jo jaa raha hai” sonu teases him

“I am just going trekking for some days, not leaving forever” he says angrily

“Awww.. mera cutie brother, jaldi aana, main wait karungi. You know you are my favorite brother” and she hugs him

“Yes yes I know, after Ahaan that is. Enough of buttering tell me what you want from Himachal” he hugs her back

She gives him a paper” bus itna hi hai” thinks Karthik

But when he opens the paper it rolls and rolls. Karthik eyes the list in surprise

“Aree I am not going abroad, that you have given me such a big list” he says still trying to get the end of that list

“I know , but still get whatever you can” she says and he just nods his head.

Everyone come to see off Karthik.

“Kya Karthik I just came and your leaving” Isqhi says sadly.

“main hoon na tumhare liye” Ahaan comes near her and whispers and she blushes

“Trek to apne hi suggest kiya tha Bhabhi, and now your saying like this. Why did you make women so complex God” he says dramatically looking at the sky and sighs “Waise bhi main kabab main haddi banke kya karunga. I will be back by your marriage, don’t worry.” he jokes and comes near Isqhi

And Isqhi gets tensed again, “don’t worry we are not marrying right now” Ahaan assures her

Karthik takes everyone’s blessings and leaves for his trek.

He had joined a travel group recently, which was famous for its hikes. They travelled to all near and far places. Karthik had always been a trekker but had never gone to Himachal. He held the door of the bus and thinks about Shefli. He hadn’t seen her since so long. Maybe they were not meant to be, he thinks and climbs the bus. The bus was already filled with all the enthusiastic trekkers. He greets all of them and they greet him back.

“Hello everyone, I am Shefali. I will be leading the Himachal trek for you guys. Hope we all have a nice time”

Karthik ‘s eyes twinkle with joy seeing her, and more than anything because she was their lead. It was going to be super fun he thought.

Shefali sees him and feels happy from within. After all she had asked Isqhi to suggest him this trek as she missed him, but she feigned ignorance towards him and went down the bus.

“So fate has decided” Karthik says through the window and they both smile.

Shefali and Karthik meet again, this time during a trek. Will this trek bring them closer?
