Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat 8th January 2016 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com

Ashoka and Kaurvaki are dropped at the secret place where Acharya Devrath already is. Acharya Devrath asks Ashoka about Kaurvaki. Ashoka tells him how he met Kaurvaki. She helped me in gaining hold of the map. She also went inside the palace along with me. Forgive me. I had no option but to take her with me. Kichak’s soldiers were about to kill me. She stepped in between or else! She has lost a lot of blood. She needs to be treated immediately. He thanks Acharya Devrath for saving him. You pulled me aside in the nick of time, and later made the bullock cart puller ask us to hide in the small box. We then reached here safely. Acharya Devrath points out that this time he wasn’t the one who saved his life. Kichak’s rebels are not just outside the palace. Ashoka notices a person standing

nearby. The person’s face is covered with a black hood. It is Bhami. Ashoka is surprised.

Kichak demands to know who helped Ashoka in running away from the palace. I wont spare that person. He is about to hurt the head of security guy but Nayak keeps his sword in between. Kichak tells Nayak he insulted his ancestors’ promise. Nayak denies. it would have been an insult had I not stopped you. My ancestors had vowed to save any person’s life who sits at the throne. You will be only calling your death upon yourselves by killing this guy (Mahanand). He has left a message at the fort. If he isn’t back 8 days then Samrat Bindusar should be alerted. Mahanand adds that it would mean Samrat will attack on Takshshila along with his army. Plus my soldiers will also attack on you. It will be impossible to save yourself then! Kichak laughs. Ashoka and the royal coin will be here before 8 days. They take Mahanand away. Kichak asks for Agnibahu.

Bhami says I know what you are thinking. If I know the route to get out of the palace then why am I letting my husband torture me, or why am I not rebelling against my husband openly! It is the easiest way to escape from any situation, though it isn’t always right. Kichak married me as I was from the most influential families of Takshshila. I did support him initially like an ideal wife. I later realised he does not love his motherland. I had to choose between my husband and motherland. I chose my motherland! I could share every inside info with the other rebellions easily. It isn’t a difficult task for me to kill Kichak. If I had rebelled openly then it would have been a foolish challenge, just like you did! When you want to do something big, then the plan and actions should be according to it only. Start thinking big. There will be problems but you will overcome them, like I have. I live with Kichak but I am a spy for the rebellions. You might have the royal coin now but you don’t know what extent Kichak can go to to get this back! Acharya Devrath advises her to go back before anyone realises she isn’t in the palace. Acharya Devrath asks Ashoka to come. Many people are waiting for you.

People share all kind of doubts about Kichak’s tortures before ashoka. Can you be as evil as him to tackle him? Even Sudama had the royal coin earlier but Kichak still threw him down his throne. Acharya Devrath tells Ashoka to be ready for the consequences. Kichak will do anything and everything to find you. The problems are only going to increase. A lady says Kaurvaki is gaining conscious. Ashoka immediately rushes to her side. Acharya Devrath is taken aback.

Kaurvaki mutters Baba in semi conscious state. Ashoka sits down next to her. She holds his hand. Don’t leave me. He assures her of the same. I am here only, with you. The lady says she lost a lot of blood. Nothing can be said certainly till she gains conscious. Ashoka sends her to take some rest. He recalls all their past meetings. Nothing was going right since the time I left for Takshshila. But now I realise that the reason behind all the problems was to meet you. Even in those dark times you were like the lamp who could bring me out of all my problems. You were my hope. I felt that everything will be good in the end. If not, then it isn’t the end. I don’t know when I started to worry / care for you during all those fights. Don’t know when you started to feel like one of my own. I have lost so much in this journey. I bore it all, but I cannot bear losing you.

Kichak asks Agnibahu about the sculpture that he spoke about. What was the idea? His sister tells him to focus on Ashoka at the moment. Kichak replies that finding Ashoka does not exactly mean chasing him. If he wants to kill me then he will have to come to me. I will give him that chance surely. He asks Agnibahu if the sculpture is ready. Agnibahu asks for a week. Kichak gives him deadline till tomorrow afternoon. Agnibahu agrees. Kichak asks him to get as many labours as he wants for the task. Bring as many kids tomorrow as you can. He turns to Veerayan. The security should be such that no one can enter inside without coming in my notice. Veerayan nods. Kichak tells his sister to make preps. There will be a sacrifice of Maurya blood on your brother’s sculpture tomorrow. She reasons that Ashoka will know about the tight security. Why will he put his life in risk? Kichak points out that Ashoka will definitely come when he will get to come that every kid of Takshshila will be sacrificed tomorrow one by one. He will have to choose between himself and the citizens. As far as I know him, he would not worry about himself. He will come there to save the kids. He will invite his death on his own!

Ashoka is missing his mother. How would she be living without me? She might have heard about my death. I cannot send her a message about my survival till my mission is complete. My existence will be rightly used when I will win. Kaurvaki wakes up. I did not know a brave warrior can cry alone. Ashoka wipes his tears. I don’t want to talk to you. She tries to move but is unable to do so. He asks her what the need to step in between the fight was. What if something had happened to you? She asks him who is she to him. He says I wouldn’t have liked it if someone gets hurt because of me. I have decided. You will stay away from me. my mission is full of obstacles. She is curious to know his mission. He goes quiet. She continues, I have a feeling your mission is not about you only. You aren’t selfish. You always help others. You can bear anything for others. Why are you so affected by the pain of the citizens of Takshshila? Who are you? He says I am Ashoka. She adds that she does not trust his story at all. You are not just a fisherman’s son. I want to know your secret, your mission. I want to know the reason behind what you do. He says I do it for my mother. She has spent her life in a very simple manner. Suddenly, the situation around her has become too troublesome for her. She is scared that someone might hurt her son. I don’t want to see fear in her eyes. I cannot bear it if I see fear in any innocent person’s eyes. Kaurvaki asks her name. Ashoka says I will make you meet her when the time comes. What will you do with the name? He feeds her the Kadha he has made.

She holds his hand as he gets up to. They share an eye lock. I don’t know why I am going to do what I am about to do. I am feeling suffocated from inside. In this less time, I have started to feel like trusting you. I can tell you my truth. I am Kalinga’s princess, Kaurvaki! Epi ends on Ashoka’s shocked face.

Precap: Kichak thinks Ashoka will find out the truth before his death today. My sculpture will be situated when the sun will be at peak. Ashoka is running in a corridor.
