Chahatt Khanna’s ex-husband Farhan Mirza gets relief from SC in s*xual and physical abuse case

The Supreme Court on Thursday granted protection to Farhan Shahrukh Mirza against arrest. For the unversed, “Bade Acche Lagte Hai” fame Chahatt Khanna leveled allegations against her ex-husband Farhan of rape and unnatural s*x. The actress even made a video of such acts as a piece of evidence against him.

The Supreme court passed the order after hearing arguments from senior advocate Siddharth Aggarwal and advocate Ejaz Maqbool, representing Farhan.  Farhan moved to the top court challenging the Bombay High Court’s September 1 decision, which declined to grant him relief against arrest.

In his plea, Farhan said: “It is submitted without prejudice that at its worst, this is a case of a marriage between two parties, both of whom have had successful careers in their respective fields, going through tough times.”

On the other hand, Chahatt alleged that Farhan committed an unnatural offense with her under the influence of drugs.

Farhan claimed that his estranged wife is a habitual liar and she had also previously adopted the same modus operandi against her former husband/partners. Farhan mentioned that Chhahat has filed identical false cases against them as well.

In her complaint, Chahatt also claimed that Farhan lied to her that he is the owner of Green Wheel Construction Company and with a substantial bank balance. However, she realized after marriage that Mirza is a drug addict and has no work or money.
