Last sunday after the clashes between n wrestlers and Delhi Police started, there has been an uproar about the same on social media too. It started after the protesting wrestlers jumped over barricades demanding the resignation of WFI chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and started their march towards the new Parliament building. Police tried it’s best to pacify the entire situation but it escalated soon.
Wrestler Sakshi Malik was detained by the cops and after seeing the images of the wrestler’s arrest, there are many celebrities from the TV industry who have called out Delhi Police.
Actors like Aly Goni, Nakuul Mehta, Sehban Azim, Karishma Tanna, Uorfi Javed, Akshay Kharodia, Ruchika Kapoor, Sehban Azim and many more expressed their opinion on the same through social media.
Aly Goni wrote “There was a time jab sab inke saath the kyunki yeh medal leke aaye the and jab ye iss halat mein hai toh sab side pe hogaye waah ye izzat ho rahi hai hamare Hindustan ke asli stars ki #shame”
Nakuul Mehta also shared the post and wrote “This doesn’t bother us anymore is the sad part”
Akshay Kharodia writes “This is very sad part to see our sport personalities being treated this way. Do they deserve this after making the whole nation proud with their victories?”
