Born into a Hindu family in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, Shagun embarked on her acting journey in 2015 with the portrayal of Sanjana Kapoor. Reflecting on her early days in Mumbai, Shagun, in a conversation with ETimes TV, shared insights into the challenges she faced, stating, “I had to take up all those shows because I was alone in Mumbai and had to survive on my own.” Despite the hardships, her dedication and talent led her to bag prominent roles, including Ishk Par Zor Nahi, Sasural Genda Phool 2, and Harphoul Mohini.

Shagun’s success extended beyond television, as she starred in the short film Mera Number Kab Aayega alongside Adnan Khan and Rakesh Bedi. The film received critical acclaim, winning over 25 awards at various film festivals.

Currently captivating audiences as Kashvi in Yeh Hai Chahatein, Shagun continues to shine with her remarkable acting skills. Her on-screen chemistry with Pravisht Mishra remains a noteworthy highlight, contributing to the show’s popularity and making Shagun Sharma a celebrated figure in the world of Indian television.
