By evening Yuvani and the family came out of the fort.
Man : We are going to beach, are you coming along?
Yuvani looks at each other. Suhani was dying to go there and Yuvi understood it. But before he could say anything,
Suh : Actually no Bhaiya.
Lady : But why? I would be fun na
Kid : Yeah didi, Bhaiya, come with us.
Suh : Not that, we have other plans.
Man : Ok then,
They leave. Yuvi was staring at Suhani.
Yuvi : Hey, Jhansi ki rani, why did you refuse?
Suh : (turning away) I am scared.
Yuvi : (shocked, he turns her towards him) What??? You! And scared of beach? (laughing) From when?
Suh : I am not scared of beach!!
Yuvi : Then?
Suhani came closer to him and locked her hands around his neck.
Suh : I can’t see you scared again, and
Yuvi interrupted.
Yuvi :(smiling) I know you won’t do something foolish again, and hence, let us go to beach.
Suh : (Excited) Really??
He nods smilingly. She hugs him happily. He smiles and hugs her back.
They reach beach. They went into the water until it reached their knees and held hands. Yuvi was watching the waves and Suhani bend to her side, took some water in her hand and throw it on him. Before he realized what happened she left his hand and ran.
Yuvi: Yuck!!……. Suhani I won’t spare you.
He ran after her and caught her from behind, by her waist and rotated her, both were laughing hard and then put her down. Both were breathing hard, but were so happy and beamed.
They walked on the shore for a while and then he rode her on his back. Everything was just PERFECT. Their joy reflected in their eyes and it appeared like an aura around them.
They were going back the following day and Suhani was full of plans. Yuvi simply listened to her and smiled. They decided to buy dress for the family. They kept talking and Yuvi was walking. They met the family, whom they met at fort. Yuvani felt embarrassed, as they refused them. Yuvi keeps Suhani down and they smile sheepishly.
Lady : (smirking) So refused to come with us as you wanted to spent some time in private?
Suh : N, no di, our, our plan got cancelled and so we came here.
The couple smile knowingly. The younger child, girl, came to Suhani.
Girl : Di, come on let us play.
Man : (smirking) No beta, let them be. You play with your Bhaiya.
Suh : No Bhaiya, it is ok. (turning to the girl) Come sweety. Let us go.
Girl hugs her happily. Suhani asked the girl to step on her feet.
Girl : (scared) I will fall down!!
Suh : (smiling)Not at all, first hold my hands then step on my feet.
Girl obeyed. Suhani started to walk towards the beach, with her. The little girl was so happy, her parents too.
Her elder brother went to Yuvi.
Boy: Bhaiya, Can you take me as di took my sister?
Yuvi nods and smiles and takes the boy along. Yuvani stopped walking when their ankles were completely under walking. Kids were laughing hard and they beamed at them.
Just then, a bigger tide came to them. The couple got scared and almost screamed. Suhani lifted the girl in the nick of time and Yuvi, he lifted the boy a bit such that his toes touched the water, and moved him sideways. Couple smiled seeing them. Yuvani brings back the kids and they hug them happily.
Boy : Bhaiya, now carry didi as you carried me.
Suhani felt embarrassed but Yuvi agreed. He asked her to step on his feet.
Suh : No way, Yuvi, I would be heavy.
Yuvi : I know you are fat, but don’t worry Jhansi ki rani, I am strong!!
She beats him. He told her again and the kids compelled her.
Suhani finally agrees and step on his feet. Yuvi started to walk.
Yuvani was admiring each other!!
Boy : (when he saw a big tide) Bhaiya, lift didi as you lifted me.
Suhani signs no. Yuvi tried to lift her, but lost balance and both fell down onto the sand, facing each other. The wave hit them. Yuvani got up; they were covered in sand and salty water.
Yuvi : (irritated) Yuck!!
Suhani started to laugh and the kids joined her.
Lady : Are you fine?
Suhani nods.
Yuvi : I am sorry guys, but we need to go.
The lady nods and Yuvani started to go back.
Suh : (sighs) We again missed the sun set.
Yuvi : (smiling angrily) I don’t think I will ever be able to see sun set with you.
Suh : Don’t fume at me now, why did you lift me?
Yuvi : Loose your weight.
Suh : But some time before someone was saying he is strong enough to lift me.
Yuvi fumes and Suhani laughs seeing him.
Suh : Sadu kumar.
Later Yuvani goes for shopping in a mall. Suhani sees a beautiful clay miniature and stops there. It was of a little boy and girl, sitting together on a swing. She tells Yuvi and goes to buy it.
She looks at the model fondly. It was very cute and she imagined herself and Kasyap on it. After meeting him, she always regretted that she didn’t meet him during her childhood. She wanted grow up with him, and smiles at the model. She buys it.
(The model thing is something real; I gifted it to my bff.)
She didn’t see Yuvi when she came back and understood where he went and smiles. She goes to nearby shop and buys a pair shoes for him and calls him. They meet near the escalator and then went to buy dress for others.
Suhani chooses a sari for Pratima and turns to show Yuvi and too had a sari with him for Pratima.
Suh & Yuvi : (indicating the one in their hand) Let us buy this for Ma.
Suh & Yuvi : This one, no way!!
They smile.
Suh : I am sure Ma will like the one I choose.
Yuvi : Never, it is disgusting, for sure I am not going to take it for Ma.
Suh : I will surely take it for Ma. It is 100 times better than the one you are holding. You taste is disgusting.
Yuvi : That it is, because I choose you.
Suh : Youuuuuuuuuuuu.
He laughs.
Yuvi : But we will buy the one I choose only.
Suh : No way. I will gift Ma this one.
Yuvi : And I this. Let us see which she likes.
Suh : Yeah let us see.
