One fine evening:
Gauri was dealing with an important assignment when Dadi went to her.
Dadi: Beta, are you busy?
Gauri: (smiling) absolutely not,
She keeps her laptop back.
Dadi: Now that you are settled, shall we,
Dadi stopped speaking as Gauri turned worried. She knew what was coming.
Dadi: (holding her) Are you not ready beta?
Gauri: No Dadi, it is not that, well still,
Dadi: (smiling) I know, it is natural.
She then shared her own experience. They had some nice time together.
The next day marriage date was fixed.
Excitement was huge at Birla family, Gauri is the only daughter, and started to prepare with great energy.

Night before Sangeet:
Yuvani was searching for Gauri as they had to give her dresses for Sangeet and marriage, and found her outside the house, on the bench. They smiled seeing her as they understood what was troubling her, and Suhani was reminded of her own days.
Yuvi: What to do? Shall we go to her?
Suh: She needs that someone now, whom she is gona miss the most.
Yuvi: Ok, now it is decided, you will go alone!
Suh: What?
Yuvi: Of course, you are that someone and I am nothing to her now!
Suh: Ok fine, you be here, I will go.
She took the dress from him and started to walk. He held her hand.
She looked questioningly at him.
Yuvi: Oh, hello I am her brother, and she needs me.
Suh: Really? A moment ago you were saying something else!
He smiles sheepishly.
Yuvi: I was just,
Suh: I knew, but why?
Yuvi: Simply.
Suh: (sighs) you won’t change!
He nodes smilingly.
They go to Gauri and sit by her either side.

Suh: Yuvi, you know what, this one moment na, it comes in every girls life, because she thinks everything is going to change her, new name, new house, new relations…. (Gauri looks at her and before she could say something, Suhani continued) but only after marriage she will realise that there is nothing great in all these!
Gauri looks on.
Yuvi: Actually, and in her in laws she acts like she has been grown and brought up there, and poor her husband, HE feels like he is stranger.
Suhani fumes at him.
Gauri: (sighs) for heaven’s sake Viyu, stop saying this! You have gone mad due to jealousy!
Yuvi: Jealous and me?
Suh: Of course you are, why else would you say this?
Gauri nodes in agreement.
Yuvi: That is because you are stealing everyone from me!
Suh: I am sorry Mr.Birla, but get used to it, because I am no gona stop it.
Gauri and Suhani laugh.
Yuvi: It is good that you are going Gauri, at least you will be free off her clutches.
But only the first part got registered into Gauri’s mind.
Gauri: You are happy that I am leaving??
He side hugs her and pulls her closer to him.
Yuvi: Will you going to new home change anything between us?
Gauri: (keeping her head on his chest) Of course not, I will be your sister always.
He smiles.

Suhani got emotional, and she got up. Gauri held her hand.
Gauri: And now our relation is incomplete without you Bhabhi. We both need you.
She smiled being emotional and hug Gauri.
They then gave her dresses and later together they made her sleep.
They smile seeing her sleep peacefully.
Suh: Somehow we managed Gauri, but,
Yuvi: It will take time for us; this house won’t be the same without her.
She nodes. He holds her and led her.
