Breaking The Silence- part3
It was the third time she was trying to drape that peacock green saree on her shoulder and by the looks it was clear she had been failing again.
“what was happening to her” huffing she thought aloud. All day she was trying to remember last night but no, her senses were not helping her. She actually had thought to ask Suhani ma unable to bear it but then she could have already hinted her if that was the case so remains the man himself who was able to help her.
“Why she always admired his eyes ,now have this torture.” Talking to herself she finally thumped on the dressing chair ,totally exhausted.
“Krishna,why looking so tired girl, and what is this,” suhani asked entering the room. “I thought to check up on you ,you look so lost.”
and finding Suhani suddenly in her room ,she started standing up in process nearly touched the floor but got saved in meantime.
“Hey, hey, easy Krishna, and what is this, is this some new fashion I don’t know, this half draped sari ? , and this one, you took too long to wear it, are you going somewhere, and don’t take me wrong but this way !!” suhani asked lightly.
“No ma ,” she was fumbling “actually Sayyam told in morning we were going somewhere and he will pick me by 5.”and she suddenly remembered she forgot telling her about that.
“Sorry ma ,I actually forgot to tell you,” she was clearly disturbed now and tears were already gathering in her eyes.
“Krishna, you okay girl.” Suhani was quick to reach her. “I feel you are upset about something ,you can always tell me .”and suddenly she was engulfed in a tight hug and silent sobs were already coming from Krishna ‘s side.
“Hey what happened, is something bothering you Krishna,” caressing her hairs suhani asked her.
But Suhani didn’t hear anything from her side. “Krishna you okay, something happened?”
and suddenly she felt she again messed up ,now what she was going to tell ma? There was just one way now she would have to lie ma ,and she hated lying to her.
So breaking the hug and wiping her cheeks she started quickly“No ma ,everything is okay, actually I was disturbed about last night ,I don’t remember a single thing and in that pressure I was unable to drape this sari and also forgot to inform you about this plan….
“Hey hey, its fine.” Suhani cut her midway. “and what happened if you forgot, here I was starting to think if Sayyam said something to you..”suhani was relieved now.
And come I will help you drape this sari but first go and freshen up ,what will someone think if they see you in this condition.” She said smiling.
“Yeah ma ,I’ll be back in a min.”smilingly she answered and ran into the washroom ,she too was relieved now.

She was putting the kohl in her eyes when she heard the horn and her heart started racing, one different feeling was there, she was not just attending a function with her husband as his wife but it was a time only for them, no one to interrupt ,no silly hiis and hellos ,she hated those dolled up wives and ladies and maybe she would feel good in this sudden outing. spreading a smile on her face she moved to the man itself.

“How was your day? Did the dizziness was still there?” He asked as soon as they fastened the seat belt and wind shields opened.
“Yeah, I was fine.”she avoided his eyes. She was unusually quiet these days .
“Well, people are going to say see,wife came all dolled up and man didn’t get the time to even shave.” trying to lift her mood up he joked.
“What.”she jolted ,she wasn’t expecting something like that. “No ,no you always look good.” she completed in a haste and alas ! mistake had already happened.
“So you think I look GOOD always,” he teased while taking a turn. She didn’t believe he was teasing her she looked to his face and found him smiling. Blushing she tried looking out of the window.
“By the way you look different today” and her heart again started thumping loudly.(Did she do a little too much, was the color looking odd on her?)she was suddenly becoming unconfident about herself when came a soft husky voice. “don’t think too much, you look beautiful.”
Silence was always her best friend but right now she hated this silence dawning in the car.
And suddenly car came to a halt and she looked up only to find there was a traffic jam ahead of them ,and she heard him swearing under his breath .
She was saved, atleast for now.
But sometimes you just don’t know about the showers coming which surely know how to quench the drought of so long.
