Thank you so much guys for all your lovely comments. But unfortunately I cannot reply to them. Someone did ask me to update “In the Name of Love”, but that is a complicated story with lots of characters, therefore it takes lot of time to update it. It will only be updated on 19th/20th April. “Bound To You” on the other hand is much simpler to update as of now. Really sorry for the delay, but hopefully you’ll understand.

When Riddhima saw who the fallen figure in her balcony was, she became shocked. “You?”
“Yes, it is me Di.”
Riddhima heaved a sigh of relief. “What on earth are you doing here at this point of time, Ronita?”
Ronita winced in pain. “Really sorry Di, but actually I wanted to meet Roshan. But instead I hurt myself,” she said while rubbing her hurt foot.
“If you so desperately wanted to meet him, why didn’t you use the door?” quizzed Riddhima.
Ronita now managed to stand up on her feet. “Di, you are so unromantic! Like brother, like sister.”
When Riddhima continued to stare at her confused, Ronita decided to explain further. “You know what, it had always been my childhood dream to have a beautiful love story – just like the one in movies. Where the guy catches the girl when she slips, where the guy fights off the goons in order to save the girl, and where the guy sneaks into the girl’s house through the windows at night just to meet her….”
Riddhima looked on amused, trying hard to control her laughter.
Ronita continued, “But I’m really sorry to say Di, but your brother and my boyfriend-turned-fiance is an absolute unromantic, a coward and a big fool! Because he is literally not doing anything, I’ve to take the charge to make our love story more interesting. I’m sure he must be dozing off comfortably in his room, while I’m left to suffer here!”
Riddhima looked at her angrily. “First of all, you have the audacity to b*t*h about my brother right in front of me. Secondly, do you have any freaking idea, how scared I had become thinking that perhaps some thief had broken in? You are soon going to get married to Roshan in a month’s time, and this is how you behave?”
Ronita was surprised to see this avatar of Riddhima. She had always known her to be a really calm and chilled out person, but here she was, shouting at her. She was almost on the brink of crying, when suddenly Riddhima started laughing.
“Oh my God Ronita, just look at your face! I was just pulling your leg, and you took it so seriously. Where’s your sense of humour, Madam?”
Ronita also joined in the laughter. “Thank God! I was so afraid that perhaps I had annoyed you. By the way, Di you’re so cool. I wish, I had a sister too.”
Riddhima patted her arm. “Well, aren’t I your sister already?”
Ronita nodded. She had met Roshan at her workplace exactly 1 year ago. Even though it was love at first sight for her, but to impress an unromantic like Roshan was altogether another feat for her. After dating for few months, they had finally managed to get engaged 2 months back, with the blessings of both their families. They were going to get married one month later, on a very auspicious date as specifically wanted by her parents.
“Have fun!” winked Riddhima while a blushed Ronita headed towards Roshan’s room.

The college was shut down for the next day, as students were busy studying for their upcoming exams. So Riddhima had the morning off and only had to go to the hospital in the evening. She decided to prepare a lavish lunch for her family, when she saw both Rhea and Reyansh entering with ice-cream cones in their hands.
“Who got them for you?” she asked sternly.
“I did,” said Kabir appearing before her.
“Kabir! Glad you came. But let me tell you that you are spoiling the kids,” said Riddhima.
“C’mon Riddhima! Children are meant to be spoilt, don’t be so harsh on them,” said Kabir. “And not only for them, but I also got you your favourite icecream – blackcurrant.”
“Blackcurrant, yikes!” Rhea and Reyansh said together making a face.
“Yes, yikes!” joined in Kabir.
“Gosh, what problem do you guys have with my blackcurrant?” said Riddhima.
“It’s too bitter,” said Rhea.
Soon Roshan entered, and he too joined the icecream party.
“Well Roshan, how was your adventure last night?” asked Kabir grinning. He turned towards Riddhima, and both of them started laughing. But Roshan had no idea what they were talking about.
“Your adventure last night with your soon wife-to-be,” said Kabir clearly this time.
Roshan blushed with embarassment. “Wait, how did you know that? Di, you told him right!”
“When I told you that my men are always watching your house, you guys never believed me a bit!” said Kabir. “But hopefully, now you will start to trust me on that.”
“But seriously, this Ronita is such an antique piece I tell you,” chuckled Riddhima. “By the way, do her parents know about her ‘late night adventures’ yet?”
“If they get to know, they’ll kill us both!” said Roshan. “You know right how orthodox they are. In fact, when Ronita had first told her parents about Di being a single mother, they had made such an issue out of it….”
Roshan realised he had said too much. He looked up at his sister, and found her to be visibly hurt.
“I’m so sorry Di, I didn’t mean to….”
“It’s okay Roshan. You don’t have to,” said Riddhima, trying to hide her sadness.
It was not something new for her, but yet always managed to pierce her heart. Wherever she went, she was always looked down upon as a single mom. Why did the society always think that a woman cannot bring up her children on her own accord, without the support of a husband?

“Manali is a beautiful city,” remarked Vansh peeping out of the window of his newly bought villa.
The serene mountains along with the lush green meadows, gave a once-in-a-lifetime treat to one’s eyes.
“But even more beautiful are the secrets that this city hides deep within it.”
He took out a photo of Riddhima and said, “We’ll meet soon, sweetheart.”

“Come back here, at sharp 6PM tomorrow. We’ll try out ultrasound therapy for your osteoarthritis, and hopefully that will help in relieving the pain,” said Riddhima to one of her patients, who soon thanked her and left from there.
“Sister, do we have any more patients in waiting?”
“No, ma’am. There are none left.”
“Fine. I guess it’s time to leave then,” said Riddhima stretching her arms. Her hands were aching because of filling out so many case-sheets and helping her patients to perform excercises. It was already 10PM, and all she wanted was to head back to the comfort of her home.
“Switch all the lights off and make sure all the windows are tightly shut. Last time you left them open, and the wind broke away my favourite vase.”
The nurse nodded and was about to shut one of the windows, when she saw a strange thing. “Ma’am, what is this?”
When Riddhima went closer to inspect it, her face turned white with fear and it seemed like she had just seen a ghost. On the window pane, there was a small gold-plated emblem with the intials ‘VR’ on it.
“Vansh Raisinghania!” she thought to herself.
Her breathing became rapid, and her fingers started to tremble.
“How did this get here?” she stammered.
“I have no idea, Ma’am,” said the nurse.
“Then what do you have an idea about, huh? You’re literally a good for nothing!” she screamed at her and stormed away from there.
She tried calling Kabir, but as usual he wasn’t picking up his phone. “When you need him the most, that’s when he doesn’t answer my call. Damn it!” she said angrily.
She hurriedly went to the parking area, but what she saw shocked her even more. On top of the bonnet of her car, was another similar VR emblem.
“Vansh has finally found me. He is in Manali,” she whispered fearfully.
Precap : Riddhima wants to leave Manali but Kabir and Roshan forbid her to do the same.
Vansh comes to meet a scared Riddhima and tries to move closer to her but the kids come in between. He looks on.
