Bohot Pyaar Karte Hain fame Ali Khan talks about the reaction he is receiving for his role; says, “Initially I was nervous, but now I am happy that people have accepted me”
Ali Khan, who made his debut on the small screen with the show Bohot Pyaar Karte Hain is grateful and elated that he is able to pursue the career that he always wanted. The actor talked about it during a recent interview and shared his experience from the first day at the shoot.
He said, “I remember my first day on the sets. It was my dream to become an actor and I was so grateful and happy that I had bagged this role. But as soon as I reached the sets of the show, I got quite nervous.”
He added, “There were many thoughts crossing my mind…whether I would be able to act well or not, and if people will accept me in the role that I was going to play. Along with the audiences, will the people I am working with like me or not? All this was going on in my mind. That’s when I tried to calm myself down and I decided that I am going to give it my best come what may. And I managed the day well. Today, I am a lot more confident and happy that people have accepted me well.”
Ali also shared that he is a perfectionist and likes to give a perfect shot each time. “I want to give my best to every scene. No matter what, I want my director and the audience to like what I do. So, many times it happens that I go and tell my director to re-shoot a particular scene and I ask him how we can do it better. Many times they tell me that it is the best shot and there is nothing more that I can do, but I still insist on giving one more shot.”
Ali concluded by saying, “I am enjoying and having fun on my first show, there is so much to learn. I would like to do all kinds of roles as an actor in the future.”
